On a Sue Stamp Tours walk on Thursday morning I captured this sight .. St Paul’s Cathedral (rebuilt after fire of London by 1710), The Shard (completed in 2012) and now the controversial Lime Bikes in the foreground- introduced in December 2018. Quite a span of London history! by @suestamptours

For any of my former colleagues at the RA, I’ve just had a lovely catch up with Jon Law (now Dr Jonathan Law, Art Historian, Lecturer and Filmmaker). You may remember him from his days as a Gallery Educator for the Learning Department between 2009-2017. In those days he had a mop of black curly hair, he’s 6ft 4 and used to go out with Helena! He remembers many of you very fondly! We’re going to try and work together on a tour… by @suestamptours

I am SO sad to hear that the lovely, wonderful and very professional TV presenter has died aged 90.

I was fortunate enough to work with her at Central TV in 1986 (my first ever working experience abroad when we went to Switzerland) and when people ask me which presenters/stars stand out over my 20 year TV career, I always say Judith!

She was so professional, always asked me the names of the crew, and then remembered them, was a one-take wonder ... and when Robbie and I got engaged later that year, she sent us a bottle of champagne and a wonderful congratulations card.

Glorious sunshine for our Glorious Greenwich all-day tour today! We went from Embankment Pier up the river to Greenwich and then did a brilliant tour with Blue Badge Guide, Simon Whitehouse. We visited the Cutty Sark, magnificent Painted Hall, lunched at the Trafalgar Tavern and then went to the Queen’s House and saw the famous Elizabeth I Armada portrait and Turner’s largest ever canvas, depicting the Battle of Trafalgar. Finished by the Royal Observatory and learnt the story of how the Meridian came to originate in Greenwich! by @suestamptours

Just to let you know, I am now an officially trained and accredited Funeral and Wedding Celebrant, having trained with the Academy of Professional Celebrants last September.

I am still very much doing my Sue Stamp Tours

But I have contemplated being a Celebrant for many years, so it is time to go for it. I hope I can bring comfort, joy, remembrance and understanding to grieving families, and also wonderful fun and celebration to couples getting married. I can but try my sincere best. xx
