Currently sitting on Eastern Parkway. Smoking a nice spliff. Listening to some good music.

Stopped here on my walk from Flatbush to Bedstuy. I co-facilitated an extremely powerful mens circle out there. Man. So so powerful.

This morning was tough. It took a lot to get out the bed. I had an appointment that gave me lots of anxiety. So I laid and did the things I needed to get myself together. Meditated. Prayed. Some positive self talk. Some breathing exercises. I got out of bed right before the appointment. I didn't even exercise until after. I cried in between. Then I ate something and laid down. I attempted to read but dozed off and got up right before I had to get myself together to lead the men's group.

I've learned that tough moments don't have to equate to bad days. I'm alive. I can feel. I took steps forward. I held space for other men. I moved my body. I ate. I laughed. I spoke with loved ones.

Yeah, today had its tough moments. But today was fucking beautiful man. True story. Im so damn grateful. #gratitude perspective #story #paintopower #moments by @sugaray4506

Facilitated a super powerful restorative justice circle in Harlem today with my Cohort of men. This is powerful work. I don't take lightly. Helping men name their feelings, identify sources of conflict, explore when they've caused harm, and things like that is so fucking powerful. Conflict is going to happen in intimate relationships. Feelings are going to be hurt. What we do there so it doesnt turn into harm and abuse is crucial. I'm learning. And as I'm learning, I'm teaching. I'm so fortunate to have folks invest in me to teach what I've learned, and indebted to the grown men allowing me to guide them. What a blessing 🙌🏿 So grateful 🙏🏿 #restorativejustice #conflict #communitybuilding #accountability #love by @sugaray4506

Last night's group art show with my brother @uncuttart at The Gallery Nomad on 30th st and 6th ave in Manhattan was epic ! Of course, I'm proud of my brother for his dope art, and, I'm proud of him for bringing in so many of his friends to participate in this project. Its so dope. The art is dope. The love is magnetic. It was an honor to be a witness to what's possible when we dream and work together ❤️ ahhhh my heart is FULL! I love seeing my people win 🏆 #Knicks #nyc #uncuttart #protectyoheart #artshow by @sugaray4506

Co-facilitated a restorative justice workshop in Brownsville today.

Then walked from Brownsville back to Bedstuy. Walked down Atlantic ave. The sun was sunning for sure. I loved it.

Sat in St. Andrew's park to take a work call.

Went to get some waters.

Going down to the city later for the group art show with @uncuttart and other dope artists to kick-off the Knicks 2026/2027 season and to celebrate ring 💍 night. Ahhhh. Come through! The show is from 4-9 at The Gallery Nomad at 846 6th ave . I'll be there around 6.

Grt rising beloveds ☀️ Happy Tuesday ✨️ Yesterday I went to visit a dear brother in the hospital. I brought him flowers. I haven't seen this brother in 10 years. I ran into his son a few days ago, whom I also haven't seen in 10 years. We caught up. He told me his dad was in the hospital. I immediately scheduled time to go spend with him. And bring him his flowers, quite literally. It's imperative brothers, that we truly let the men in our lives know how much they mean to us. You don't have to wait until a funeral to tell a brother how much you love him and to give him his flowers.

We caught up. We laughed. We prayed. We affirmed. It was a such a joy to spend some time with this brother. I'm grateful. My heart is full. Life is Good. Give thanks 😊 🙏🏿 #thankful #grateful #brotherhood #brotherlylove #flowers by @sugaray4506

The Shed, NY | October 16, 2026 — New York City’s criminal legal system faces several issues, including wrongful convictions, police brutality, and a lack of accountability and justice. Beyond the criminal legal system, many NYC residents believe there aren’t enough resources to support people struggling with mental health challenges and that society is more inclined to punish them than provide the help they need. Despite efforts to address these concerns, many residents believe the city still has significant issues that need to be confronted.

To bring greater attention to these issues, the United Justice Coalition, a non-profit organization that specializes in raising awareness around key justice issues and unifying communities, hosted its 2026 Summit with Roc Nation at The Shed to shed light on these issues. The event attracted several prominent leaders and influential voices who shared their personal experiences, including accounts of trauma and adversity, while providing attendees with resources and opportunities to help them navigate similar challenges.

It was an honor attending this event and hearing so many powerful, impactful stories from different people and I look forward to covering more stories like this in the future.
