The Founder Files: SOJA Stories, Part 2 ๐ŸŽ™๏ธ Sugarshack Sessions Founder Eddie, who has booked every session since 2014, takes us back to the day reggae royalty showed up on property unannounced. ๐Ÿ‘‘ It started with a booking Eddie had dreamed about for years: Leilani Wolfgramm. When she confirmed, he asked if a certain friend of hers might tag along. Her answer: โ€œNot this time.โ€ Session day. All the boys keep asking, โ€œIs he coming?โ€ Eddieโ€™s answer: โ€œShe said no.โ€ Then a car door opensโ€ฆ and out steps a future Grammy winner. ๐Ÿ† Watch till the end to see who it was. ๐Ÿ‘€ More Founder Files are on the way, and it only gets JUICIER from here. ๐Ÿ˜Ž Follow along so you donโ€™t miss Part 3, where Eddie explains how he got his foot in the door with artists over the years. Got any Sugarshack lore you want me to dig up? Drop a comment below and your story could get picked! ๐Ÿ‘‡ #SugarshackSessions #SOJA #AmericanReggae #ReggaeHistory FounderFiles taken in Bonita Springs, Florida by @sugarshacksessions

Weโ€™re breaking the ice on a brand new series feat. Tunnel Vision tonight at 9pm EST! The Founder Files: SOJA Stories, Part 1 | The History of Sugarshack Sessions ๐ŸŽ™๏ธ Are you a fan of American Reggae history? Then youโ€™ll wanna tune in! In this episode, Sugarshack Sessions co-founder Eddie talks about starting Sugarshack and what band was his dream band when the idea for Sugarshack was first conceived. I have the wonderful and amazing opportunity to work alongside โ€œThe 5 OGsโ€ of @sugarshacksessions, the Southwest Florida live acoustic music channel behind 1,000+ sessions. I know a lot of the lore and have heard some of the stories in my short time here... but I hardly know anything compared to what they can share. My goal with The Founder Files is to help educate the public (and myself!) on the rich history of this amazing brand and its place in music discovery and the scene. Letโ€™s have some fun and see what we can dig up! More Founder Files are on the way, and let me tell you, it gets JUUUUICY. ๐ŸŠ Follow along so you donโ€™t miss Part 2, where Eddie talks about the first time we had reggae royalty on property! ๐Ÿ‘‘ Got any Sugarshack lore or stories you want me to dig up?
