If you've seen Resident Artist @dariapenta's wall at the gallery, you know that she's painting irritated cats, weird moths, sparkly snakes and things as other (spooky) things all year round, but 'tis the season for the darker side of her art to shine! Daria has a bunch of events this fall --the next @greenwoodartcollective Art Walk is Nov 13, but before then she'll be showing up with the entire maximalist color wheel of sparkle at @geekgirlcon Oct 24-25 and @210seattlemarket Nov 5. October Art Walk at @greenwoodartcollective! Spooky glowy thanks to everyone who made it such a fun night! The hallway was lined with black light art (shoutout to amazing solo show from @subspaceartist) and creepy deco (shoutout to @happytime_apocalypse, where every day is Halloween) and it was so fun to hang out with you! Tomorrow night! The spookiest and glowiest Art Walk of the year! Join us for the 12th Annual @greenwoodartcollective Halloween Art Walk, hosted by our friends in @happytime_apocalypse! There's going to be black light art throughout the hallway, a DJ in the lounge AND down by @mutinyartgallery, @subspaceartist is hanging a black light reactive solo show that is not to be missed! Resident Artist @kerstingraudins loves Halloween (also known as Gay Christmas👻 🎄 👻 ), and it definitely shows in her work -- she's got trick or treat bags, glow in the dark bat pillowcases, and lots of other creepy and affordable screen printed pieces to keep the spooky vibe going all year round. All of the Art Walk visitors who have been asking @amd.artist for her contact info will be happy to hear that she now has business cards (hand printed, of course)! Amanda used this cute little 1940's Buddy L toy printing press for her new cards, which means that every card is a tiny little piece of art. This past weekend Sugarwall printmakers @amd.artist and @lynnprints got out of their studios and braved the waters of Puget Sound to table for @seattle_print_arts at the first annual Northwest Print Jam in Bremerton. @kerstingraudins was there in spirit through her prints.
