You can find beautiful waterfalls from exhilarating suspension bridges at the Rincon de la Vieja National Park. You'll also find horse riding, hot springs and mud pits, and a delicious lunch. After La Leona, I had dinner at the lovely Soda Terasita, which became the go to dinner place for the rest of the trip. The fresh fish was delicious and the strawberry smoothie was refreshing. After hiking and exploring the waterfall and forest, we went tubing down the river, but I didn't get any photos of that. I did get photos of the delicious lunch that they provided. I chose fish, and I loved it. Then I tried flying my drone, but it was too windy so I only got two photos of a volcano in the distance. On our drive back, our tour guide stopped by a local hangout. The La Leona Waterfall hike was a one of a kind experience. I never trekked through water, climbed rocks, checked out caves, and stood in and underneath waterfalls in one day. Amazing experience. I got some forehead battle damage climbing down one rope, but internet research taught me that forehead cuts heal quickly.
If you want to see the sights but with an easier hike, that's possible too. Just tell your tour guide what you're comfortable with.

The Palms Hotel at Coco Beach, Costa Rica has a lovely restaurant and complimentary breakfast for guests. You can relax in the pool or tranquil outdoor seating. They have a convenience store where you can buy necessities or snacks or beverages at a normal price. The green mountains on one side and the Pacific Ocean with silhouettes of boats on the other side all come together to provide an amazing sunrise at Playas del Coco in Costa Rica. Pura Vida.
The sun peaked above the horizon around 5:30am. I used a DJI Mini 4 Pro and waypoints. The video is at 300% speed.
