Few pieces demonstrate the art of woodworking quite like Hans J. Wegner’s Round Chair. The chair’s distinctive frame is shaped from solid timber using techniques that require exceptional precision, with the sweeping back and armrest formed as a continuous element. At PP Møbler, much of the work remains in the hands of skilled craftsmen, who carefully shape, join, sand, and finish each chair. The result is a design whose simplicity leaves nowhere for imperfect craftsmanship to hide. by @suiteny

There is something particularly beautiful about a textile made slowly, by hand. The Duetto Rug is intricately handwoven from paper yarn and cotton, creating a subtle interplay of texture and tone across its surface. A paper cord edge provides a finely finished border, while the reversible construction allows either side of the rug to be featured. The result is a deceptively simple rug whose craftsmanship becomes more apparent the closer you look. by @suiteny

We’re still on cloud nine after last week.

Two nights celebrating 20 years of SUITE NY, the opening of our new home, and the people who have made the journey so special. From an intimate dinner to a packed showroom, it was a week we won’t soon forget.

The Narcisse table lamp from Entrelacs juxtaposes colors, textures, and shapes to create a gorgeous light sculpture. Made in France, Narcisse was designed intentionally to highlight the brilliant qualities of alabaster and bronze, as well as the craftsmanship required to blend the two materials. A sculptural accent for a side table, console, or credenza, Narcisse brings an atmospheric quality to the room even when unlit. Currently on display in the SUITE NY showroom. by @suiteny

This month for #MeetOurPartners, our new series recognizing the organizations that support our mission and invest in the future of our profession: Maria Sepulveda Kirkel, Co-Founder, and Nick Taricco, Managing Partner, of @suiteny, a New York-based showroom specializing in modern and contemporary design.

Since founding the company in 2006, Maria has helped establish SUITE NY as a trusted resource for international furnishings, while Nick, who joined the company in 2014, has helped guide its growth and evolution. Together, they continue to champion craftsmanship, design excellence, and the power of meaningful human connection through design.

New from Glas Italia, Glacier is a collection of tow tables made from cast glass subject to a high-temperature casting process. The top is formed by melting a shaped slab of colored onto an extralight glass sheet, thus creating an irregular surface that evokes the formation of glaciers, altering the perception of the material and emphasizing its relationship with light. by @suiteny

Designed to define space without enclosing it, Montana Free reimagines shelving as an open architectural framework. Slender powder-coated steel columns support lacquered shelves that appear to float, allowing light to move freely through the composition. Whether used as storage or a room divider, the system creates organization while preserving a sense of openness. Completely customizable in a wide variety of colors and configurations. by @suiteny
