It’s where my journey began, where my roots were planted, and where my game was built. Since I was 9 or 10 years old, this has been my space. Being able to return and continue growing here means everything.On February 11th last year, I had a conversation with Georgie that would become something much bigger than I imagined.. the opportunity to join the YDK family as an ambassador. En Monterrey se vivió una de las hazañas más históricas que he visto en el deporte profesional.De estar en último lugar a mitad de temporada…a calificar en el último juego… y terminar coronándote campeonas de la Serie de la Reina.No es cualquier cosa.No pasa seguido.Y mucho menos… se siente así.Esta es la historia de Sultanes Femenil…o mejor dicho: las muchachas del regreso.Arrancaba la temporada 2026 de la LMS y, en el papel, Sultanes tenía un equipo competitivo, armado para pelear.Pero la realidad fue otra completamente distinta.Derrota… tras derrota… tras derrota…Y ¿saben qué era lo peor?No era solo perder.Era cómo se veía el equipo.Un plantel incómodo, frustrado y un dugout apagado…y un manager, el profe Rafa, que se notaba desesperado, buscando respuestas que simplemente no llegaban.Hasta tocar fondo.Último lugar a mitad del certamen.Entonces viene la pregunta clave:¿qué cambió?Varias cosas.La salida de Sam Show…y la llegada de piezas que, en su momento, no convencían a todos:Katerina Kindermannova —que terminaría siendo MVP del Juego 4—y Sharlize Palacios.Un movimiento que muchos dudaron…y que terminó cambiándolo todo.Porque de pronto… el equipo empezó a ser otro.A jugar con confianza.A sonreír otra vez.Y si ibas al estadio lo sentías…todas metidas en el juego, conectadas, viviendo cada pitch como si fuera el último.Tenían algo distinto.Un aura que no se puede explicar… pero que sí se puede sentir.Se metieron a playoffs y el destino les puso enfrente, otra vez, a Diablos en la Serie de la Reina.Las mismas que el año pasado las habían apaleado.Pero esta vez… no era el mismo equipo.Y tú lo sabías.Porque este grupo estaba tan unido…que no había forma humana de romperlo.Se respiraba confianza.Se respiraba hambre.Y sobre todo… se respiraba revancha.Todo lo que no les salió en la primera mitad del año…terminó saliéndoles cuando más importaba.Y así…terminaron tocando la cima.Monterrey volvió a sonreír.Con orgullo.Con emoción.Con esa sensación que solo el deporte te puede dar.Porque sí…las muchachas del regreso lo lograron.#monterrey #sultanes #softbol #historia #marcelobustos by @sukavg
