Weaving acoustic tones of dark folk with elements of atmospheric black metal and post-rock, Suldusk create a powerful panoramic of shimmering guitars, affecting melodies and atmospheric density.

Suldusk has supported international artists Wolves in The Throne Room, Eluveitie, Zeal and Ardor, Agalloch, Within Temptation, Deafheaven and more and recently completed a European Tour supporting Grima in 2025.

Suldusk originated as a one-woman project releasing a “killer debut album” (FolkNRock), Lunar Falls in 2019 “executed brilliantly” (Everything Is Noise) and “a success in creating thoroughly entrancing musical experiences through seamless juxtapositions of contrasting musical styles.” (No Clean Singing).

The project evolved into a full band, and released Anthesis in 2024, rated a “masterpiece” (Metal Temple), and “beautiful atmospheric and evocative, atmoblack at its best” (Angry Metal Guy).

The anticipated third work by the project will be released in late 2026. The new album forges a unique path between the sacred and the elemental, blending
the ancient spiritual resonance of Byzantine hymnody with a vast immersive soundscape of atmospheric black metal. This intersection of sacred and extreme will be previewed with a performance at Essence Festival on Saturday October 3rd at The Baso, Canberra.

@zebadee_scott laying down something more mellow and emotive from the new album. We had the privilege of working with @troyaudioninja at the stunning new @sabresoundstudio for drum production. Zeb’s playing on this new album is beyond words.

Dear Beloveds,

On 6th Dec we will be revealing new music at the @birdsrobe bday event. The direction of the new music may surprise but rest assured, everything always comes down to the acoustic guitar - because that sound is irreplaceable- and to nature, the infinite life force.

Playing Anthesis at Fortress Festival and @patronaathaerlem - with thanks again to @reaperagencyuk and @asgaardianevents and the amazing audiences.

This is the end of the line for this incarnation of Suldusk, as we embark on a new chapter with sounds and sights informed by the recent Euro tour experience.

Blessings,
Highfield
