POSTS STORIES REELS

Yesterday I finished my 2024 goal and became an Ironman.

I wasn’t proud of how I ended 2023 and decided to make some serious changes for 2024. Paused alcohol and committed to my health with this challenge - that honestly scared the shit out of me. I’ve always hated long-distance endurance sports. I knew nothing about being a triathlete, but there was something about being an Ironman that I couldn’t shake and needed to chase it.

Logan and Milo might not always listen to what I say, but I know they have sharp eyes. They see EVERYTHING and their little brains are constantly downloading it and learning from it. I could tell them all about hard work, but I wanted to show them and in this case make the impossible possible. This Ironman was as much for them as it was for me, to prove that anything in life is achievable if you put in the work, stay disciplined and refuse to give up.

You are ONE decision away from changing your life. That’s it.

I don’t care who’s doing “better” than me. I’m better than I was last year.

Special thanks to my support system: Cecilia, my family, and friends. You helped carry me. Logan and Milo - this one’s for you. I hope when you look back on this, you remember what’s possible when you set your mind on something bigger than yourself. 💪 🦀

Milo earned this today!

He’s wanted this Coast Guard LEGO set for over a year, and I’ve always told him this was one he had to earn.

Football really hasn’t clicked yet. He’s played a few seasons, but getting him to really participate, run hard, pull a flag, try to score… it’s been tough.

So we made him a deal: pull one flag or score one touchdown, and you’ve earned it.

Say what you will about bribing your kids with sports or academics… but this was one where he just needed a little extra motivation to realize he could do it (and he tried to change how to earn it 100+ times)

Today he did both.

First flag pull. First TD. Same game.

I don’t care if he ever becomes a great football player. I care that he did something that was really hard for him, and he worked for something he wanted.

Straight to the LEGO store after the game!

Couldn’t be prouder of this kid. ♥️

Milo also made history today as the first player to ever have a wide-open path to the end zone and decide to pass it (last slide) 😂 by @sulltv

Your views don’t tell you if your video was good. Your retention graph does.

📉 Big drop immediately? Bad hook.
📉 Drop at the end? Bad ending.
📉 Falls off a cliff and stays there? Bad video.
📉 Strong hook, then a collapse? You didn’t deliver on the promise.
📉 One obvious dip? Find it, cut it, and repost.
📈 Holding attention all the way through? You might have a winner.

Stop staring at likes and views. Look at where people leave and then go back to that exact second in your video.

The graph is basically telling you what to fix.

My buddy @rico.incarnati always says you’re one video away from a completely different life, and I just proved it.

30 days ago, I built FootballPlaybook.com and posted a single short video. That clip blew past 250,000 views, now bringing in over 50 coaches a day, nearly 100,000 site visits, and an official iOS app approval coming up next.

Huge thanks to every coach (and friend) who helped report bugs and request features to make this a true team effort.

“Good” is the ultimate enemy of “Great.”

Most people don’t fail because they’re doing bad work. They fail because they fill their day with 10 “good” things that consume the energy needed for their BEST work.
