I’m a day late (as I am with perennially all things) to celebrate International Women’s Day but in my mind, shouldn’t we celebrate women everyday and not just one day?

Thank you to everyone who reached out today with the kind birthday wishes. I consider myself very fortunate to have a great circle of friends and family who love and show support to me. I know it can’t be easy. I’m stubborn. I’m right. I’m wrong. I’ve been proven right and I’ve been humbled just as much. I never take the easy route in life and it makes me the bastard I can be at times. But I always feel that my heart is always full and always worn on my sleeve for those patient people that love me. I always get sad on my birthdays because it makes me miss my grandparents but I know in this crazy journey called life, nothing is simple or linear. I accept life for all its beauty and joy… but also the cuts and bruises that it can deliver. It gives you character… or maybe it makes you a character like me. a role I absolutely love! This character is so layered and intriguing that it took me into a completely different world, the world of Ana. Her world was surprising, challenging, filled with the unknown, tons questions plus ups and downs. It’s so refreshing to find such incredible scripts that motivates the actor to become it. I love stories that live out of the box! More of this please!

I picked literally the worst time to post this (after the loss to the Bears 😡) but I’ve been meaning to post this for about a week. I had the chance to attend my beloved (well… maybe not so beloved at this moment) Washington Commanders vs the LA Chargers. I haven’t seen my team play live since I lived in Virginia. So, it’s been a moment. I was able to see them live with my homie @yamomscheriomilk - who was attending her first football game live.

It was rough going in the first quarter and I was pretty miserable but things picked up for the better with a nice win for the good guys.

I was able to attend a fun game with one of my best friends and enjoy overpriced beer. You can’t beat that!
