3rd generation behind Sumatera Coffee. Grew up between the highlands of Gayo and the hands of farmers who've been on the same land for decades. Most people would call that a comfortable inheritance. @afiqrhmn_ calls it a starting point.

Right now, he's in Malaysia pursuing his master's degree. But he's not building a career somewhere else . He's learning how to bring Gayo Arabica further than it's ever gone. More roasteries. More countries. More people who get to taste what 1,400 meters of altitude does to a coffee cherry.

That's what 3rd generation means here. Not just continuing but building.

Most coffee is judged in the cup. Few people look at where it actually begins.

Rainfall, moisture, and nutrient absorption shape how cherries ripen, how dense the bean becomes, and ultimately how the cup tastes.

These aren't variables you can fix at the roaster. They're set months earlier, in the ground.
