The first couple of weeks of this year were spent at home—bed to living room, back to bed. We lost the center of our family, our summer girl. Exactly one year ago today, we went from being three to two.

Sumdai (some-day) is in honor of our girl, Summer Daisy. Everything we do carries a piece of her with it. Moments are fleeting, and everything eventually becomes a memory. Our passion is capturing those memories through video, because in the end, that’s what we’re left with.

Thank you to everyone who has believed in us and in our work. Every one of you, through your support, has helped us feel like we’re keeping our girl’s memory alive. For that, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

“How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.”
We love you forever, Summer 💛 taken in New Orleans, Louisiana by @sumdai.creative

We filmed our first missionary trip in Talamanca, Costa Rica. This wasn’t in our plans this year which is what makes it that much more special.

We are so grateful to God for this opportunity. We can’t wait to share this short film with you guys!

It will be in Spanish and some parts in bribri which is the language of the indigenous village we visited. We are trying to figure out a way to make captions in English so that everyone can appreciate this project 🤍 taken in Talamanca, Limon, Costa Rica by @sumdai.creative
