The Safari Spot You Can’t Miss in Phu Quoc! (Part 2) 🛑🦏

Back with a few more of my favorite moments from Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc! 🇻🇳 This place belongs on every single Phu Quoc Island itinerary.

A few of my favorite moments from Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc! 🇻🇳 If you are planning a trip to Phu Quoc Island, you absolutely have to add this place to your itinerary.

Here is what went down in these clips:

🚶‍♂️ The Safari Trails: Wandering through the lush paths to find the next exhibit.

🦩 Flamingo Lake: A stunning, vibrant pink welcoming committee.

🦒 The Giraffe Restaurant: Hands down the best experience—getting to feed these gentle giants up close!

🐢 The Giants: Hanging out with the massive, hungry tortoises.

🐫 The Local Gossip: Caught these two camels having a full, animated conversation at the end.

📍 Location:

Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc is nestled in Bai Dai, Ganh Dau, right on the northwest tip of Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam. It is roughly a 40-minute drive (35–40 km) away from the main island hub of Duong Dong, and travelers can easily hop on the free VinBus shuttle complex to get there directly.

Just 1 hour from Bengaluru, Somewhere Quiet, Serene and Thoughts of You

There’s something about a quiet, misty lake that makes you slow down and think about the people who matter most. ☁️

Cutting these peaceful frames from Avathi Lake to this iconic track just felt right. Distance is tough, but it only reminds us how deep the connection runs.

📍Location: Avathi Lake

Exact Spot: Located in Avati Village, Devanahalli Taluk, Bengaluru Rural.

Distance: Approximately 45–50 km from central Bengaluru (around a 1-hour drive via the Hyderabad Highway / NH 44).

Landmark: It sits right at the foothills of Avathi Betta and is very close to the ancient Sri Thimmaraya Swamy Temple. It is also just a short 20 km detour before reaching Nandi Hills.

📝 About the Spot

Tucked away from the usual highway traffic, Avathi Lake is a peaceful, less-crowded freshwater reservoir surrounded by scenic rocky hillocks and wide grasslands. It’s an ideal, budget-friendly morning drive spot for travelers, cyclists, and photographers looking for clean air and beautiful tree-lined reflections. You can easily catch local fishermen casting nets, watch cattle grazing by the banks, or even book basic lakeside boating and kayaking activities.

Chasing moments in Bali 🗺️

A love letter to the Island of the Gods. 🕊️ Elements of culture, coastlines, and absolute peace.

Significance: A famous 17th-century Balinese Hindu water temple dedicated to the lake goddess Dewi Danu.

Location: Legian (Kuta area), South Bali
