Going into college I was nervous and alone. My best friend lived hours away and I had no idea how to make any friends at school. I did everything people suggested, “be yourself!” “Find a club and just chat!” “Just talk to people and they’ll love you!” That advice didn’t always work out and I ended up feeling more alone.
I don’t know what changed or maybe if I did, but I found friendship. I found girls who love me and cherish my friendship, I found friends who care about me on a deeper level than I ever thought possible. I’ve found myself in these people.

Ale taught me to be independent and love myself even if there’s people trying to bring me down.
Lydia taught me to always work hard and have sass and class.
Hannah has taught me how to be honest even when it’s a hard topic.
Sophia has taught me that it’s okay to think I’m beautiful and to be whimsy.
Bella has taught me that trying to fit into people’s stereotypes is driving me away from who I am and to keep singing even when it’s hard.
Marina has taught me to work my ass off when it comes to what I want in life.
Bear has taught me to love openly and unconditionally. To be free to be me even if that means I’m weird.
Annalise has taught me how to have fun in between the working hard.
Rocket taught me to let my creativity fly, there should be no limit to what I can do.
Nicki taught me how to genuinely laugh and feel like I’m wanted.

Every single person in these photos has helped shape who I am on the deepest level possible. I love each and every one of them so much and I hope that someday I can repay them for everything they’ve done for me.
