2024 was a year of radical exposure and immediate surrender. this year taught me that every thought,
dream, job, friendship, gifting, and motive should be surrendered. whether it has the potential to be beneficial or artificial, that is up to Him, the righteous one, to sift through and release back to me what he believes should stay. i’ve truly given my all and i would do it over a million times again. how lovely and safe to have a father that delights in all of me and desires to help me with everything!
i will never be too old for his guidance and leadership.
i will never be too old to be filled with wonder.

the light has exposed, revealed, and redeemed more than i could have ever imagined. i thought it would hurt, but his exposure is actually rooted in his warmth and love. the brilliance of color and light flood my eyes through the mundanity of life and show me hope. here’s a few moments throughout the year of the colors and light i’ve found within the people and things around me🌈 by @summerglenn

today while spending time with the Lord, Holy Spirit dropped something in my spirit that truly captured my attention. I heard “when your eyes stay locked on me, the waters you are walking on will feel more like concrete and less like waves” WHAT??
two quick things i got from that:
first of all this means we are already ON the waves and out in the water. maybe you are further out of the boat than what you may originally think. ask the Lord for a “depth check” to see how far out you really are.
second, the more we begin to walk the rough waves and get adjusted to the feel of it, the more stable it becomes to us. in the same way we aren’t afraid of concrete collapsing when we walk on a sidewalk, this should be the same way we walk on the waves. eyes fiercely locked with Jesus, and staying steady. by @summerglenn

there’s something so serene and comforting about fog to me. this morning it was almost as if i could hear the Lord saying “the fog that’s been covering your dawn will lift as the day continues on”. how promising it is to know the fog over our lives will evaporate and reveal the landscape and beauty of each day we have. today is a gift. be encouraged that the fog IS lifting and your day will always be brighter than your night! taken in Chilhowee Mountain Overlook by @summerglenn
