Hello 👋🏼, my name is May. Summer May is a stage name I gift myself for that one day that I make it to international stages (and continues to daydreams 😂)

I love performing and have been pole dancing for over 10 years now. This is my pole teaching journey 2.0, where I'm looking to teach, dance, choreo, and learn more tricks with every bit my body can take.

I enjoy growing with my students and can't wait to dance with you on this ever journey. 🧡

What a year it’s been! Here’s to always finding the perfect camera angle, reaching new heights, and embracing your own journey without comparisons.

Thank you to everyone who’s still here with us—we couldn’t do it without you. Trusting the magic of new beginnings, let’s go 2025! 💫✨ taken in The Muse Haven by @summermaydances

Started 2024 with a clear goal: getting back to the pole techniques I love, rebuilding the flexibility I’ve lost, and regaining the strength I once had. It’s been a while, but this journey is all about progress, not perfection. Here’s to showing up, putting in the work, and celebrating every small win along the way. 💪✨

Feeling every beat and every moment with this mesmerizing choreography to Touch by Katseye 💃✨ Pole dance is more than movement—it's art, strength, and passion. 🖤

This was one of my personal favourite songs to choreo to. 🥃 Slow rock ftw! And also bringing back the classique style of splits and slow dancing to focus on movements. 🫶🏼

My baby polers 💕 I can still remember how shocked they were when I approached them to talk about learning an item and performing to a small group of audience. Despite differences in schedules, they put in much effort to learn and remember the steps. Thank you for sharing and dancing my Espresso piece with me, and for being so game on with the coordination of outfits too. 😘💞

In celebration of The Muse Haven's one year anniversary, there were perks for pole users booking the space for practice in the month of October. We wanted to celebrate with our students too and I'm glad we did. TMH Family and Friends Night was a cosy affair with performances put up by students with some of them their first time performing. ✨️😂

Thank you for being such great sports, and we hope there's more to come in the future!

The one year mark has come and gone, but it's never too late to say thank you to my partner in crime @tchloex for pulling this off with me. 💕

Espresso ☕️ I enjoyed choreoing to this, and it eventually got too much because it was on repeat while teaching this to my beginners class. 🤎

Counting down to the last 15 days before 2024 is over. I'm gonna be sharing a post every day to remember what I've done for the year ✨️ I think it's important to keep track of your own achievements, every bit of it, even if it's as simple as showing up for a class or practice. An achievement is still an achievement. 💪🏼

So let the sharing begin! 🙌🏼🫶🏼

ONE YEAR.

Happy birthday to a space we love, a space we find inspirations in, a space we reignite the fire in us, and a space we take in the prettiest sunsets.
