Dear Daisha Summers,

For every night you cried in silence and still got up like nothing could touch you. You turned pain, pressure, and heartbreak into power. You walked through stress, anxiety, depression, and feeling alone, and you still came out on top.

You found your way back to God and devoted your life to the Lord.
Joshua 1:9 “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

And now you stand here as the first in your family to graduate college, with another degree already on the way.

This isn’t just a degree… it’s a statement. You didn’t break, you didn’t fold, and you definitely didn’t lose.
