This great love is beyond what I ever expected to receive in my life. Although I may not have seen the future when I first met you, I truly believe that I felt it. Our relationship for the past 3.5 years has been nothing short of surreal.

With you, I have rebuilt my trust, confidence, contentment and love towards a partner and you have been patient and gentle from the start. You showed me what love is supposed to be, how love acts, and how love allows you to be yourself as you grow and evolve each other.

Life before you had seemed off balance, because the balance I was looking for, was you. I'm continually grateful that you chose me to be your wife, on this date one year ago.

To reiterate my promises:

I promise to always be grateful
for your love for your care
for your cooking.
I promise to care for you
when you don't feel well
or even when you don't quite feel yourself.
I promise to be present
to communicate openly
and never go to bed angry.
I promise to do my part
to take care of our bunnies
our home and our future.

May we continue to adventure on in gratefulness and grace. Together we are prepared to take on anything that comes our way, because challenges grow our strength.

I love you to my core. Happy 1 Year Anniversary.

About 8 months ago, our lives were turned upside-down. Steve was diagnosed with cancer, just before our one year wedding anniversary(hold on, we're getting to the special part).

Dealing with the diagnosis has been overwhelming so we've mostly kept it private, but today was a giant milestone amid the whirlwind and fog. Steve has completed his chemotherapy treatment, his initial blood tests are negative and we have so much to be thankful for.

We wanted to share this update because milestones such as these should be celebrated, and we are overjoyed that he was able to ring the bell today, and get his certificate of chemotherapy competition- "overjoyed" is an understatement.

We know that there are still tests, scans and surveillance ahead, but now his body can rest and recover. I'm so proud of his resilience through this daunting experience (from surgery to chemotherapy), and my heart explodes with the amount of support we've already received throughout.

Life is full of the unexpected, so celebrate the milestones when they come, and hug the people you hold most dear.

Ours is my favorite fairytale. I longed for this love, never knowing if it was something that could be real, yet here you are. Our story is unique and I wouldn't have it any other way. Every adventure, every trial, every teary eye or mischievous smile - it has brought us this far and has strengthened our bond beyond measure.

How lucky I am - how grateful - to have you in my life as my best friend and partner.

Thank you for caring for our rabbits.
Thank you for making sure I eat well.
Thank you for taking care of me when I don't feel myself.
Thank you for sharing responsibilities.
Thank you for letting me lean on you.
Thank you for being vulnerable, kind and compassionate.
Thank you for never giving me grief over all the random things I bring home.
Thank you for being adventurous.
Thank you for letting me stay wild ;)

If you know me, you know that I love an evening with the girls, so it was such a pleasure to join in on an amazing event presented by @thebeautyboostfortlauderdale at @thetoxftlauderdale !

The first Nat Gems Pendants are curing and I couldn't be more thrilled!

These are from a September 1955 issue that was badly damaged, so it's my mission to preserve these little pieces of History to share.

They're all unique, all handmade by me (as evident by little imperfections, and lots of love).

You can stay tuned for when I eventually join the local markets or start an Etsy shop - but if anything I post catches your eye, you can purchase it for local pickup ;)

It's me, I was the problem.

Okay, sometimes I still am - but I've come a long way.

This little clip is good for a giggle, but in all honesty, asking for help was a big reason I started Rosé & Hustle.

Going out on my own, 10 years ago, it was awkward and scary. I never knew who I was allowed to ask for help, and I didn't want to make things weird or annoy anyone. So I floundered a lot. I struggled constantly. And while yes, that's part of the journey and how you learn, it also doesn't need to be that hard.

And then I discovered people who wanted to help. I found women through Facebook Groups (rare, but true), networking events, and just out in the wild. I invited them to coffee. We shared experiences, struggles and hopes, while helping each other brainstorm and problem solve. It was a two-way street and it was incredibly energizing.

So I wanted more. I looked for places where I could build these types of relationships with other business owners. In 2019, it just wasn't around, I couldn't find anything. Every networking event I went to was aggressive and just too big. So I decided to create something of my own. But then the world decided it wasn't the right time (2020).

But I kept dreaming, planning, planting seeds. Eventually in March 2023, I took a chance and put an Event on Eventbrite. A handful of women showed up - much to my surprise - and it was such a special evening. That's when I realized I had found what I wanted to do. Bring women together. Encourage conversation, partnerships, brainstorming, curiosity and learning - all the things that inspired me from my coffee chats.

So here we are 3 1/2 years later. (IMHO) There is no better place to find female entrepreneurs on the same page, women who are truly interested in supporting each other. Offering their experiences, advice, recommendations.

So if asking for help is a challenge, and if you are looking for a community of women who are willing to make asking easier - this is it. Come find us <3 taken in Fort Lauderdale, Florida by @summersunflower
