Autumn's senior year is almost over, and we can't wait to see her thrive at Mississippi State. 🐾 We appreciate Ashley Long Talton's kindness by letting us use her home in a pinch 😉and are impressed by Ashton McCoy's skills. Tonight I had the honor of watching Autumn swim her last swim. I was ok until she cried. I will never forget we were only trying to learn to swim for safety. We took lessons from so many in town and Jennifer Little convinced me to get her into Shockwave with Ava. And we have never looked back. She has made lifelong friends and memories. We have been all over the country for meets. We have had the best time in hotels and trips with the team She has met friends from every where. Swim has taught her so many life lessons, including failure and how to deal with it. It taught how to work hard to come back after an injury. It’s also taught how to be a team player and love others even when she may not have reached her personal goal. I must say we have had so much fun watching you swim and compete. Autumn Swinney You will always be a winner in our book. And tonight only 3 points separated THS from being the state champs. I know it was disappointing to the team but as a parent we were so proud to see the fight in these girls . And we are beyond proud of you. Love you and can’t wait what the future holds for you . Your resilience is inspirational.
