A little rain won't put a damper on our Fall Fest fun! 🍂 Due to forecasted inclement weather, all festivities will be moving indoors this year. The good news is that Fall Fest is still on, and we are excited to gather together tomorrow, Friday, October 2, for an afternoon of fun, food and games!

Please visit SummitCDS.org/FallFest for more information and maps of the event.

Aviation students got up close and personal with airplane engines at GE Aerospace this week! Summit parents Marc Luley and Chad Knapke guided our students on a tour of the division, which serves planes from all over the world 24 hours a day.

The Summit is proud to offer aviation as one of our signature Upper School programs. The Honors Aircraft Systems and Performance course gives students the chance to use state-of-the-art flight simulators, and to get hands-on experience in the field of aviation. ✈️

The St. Julie Center for Spirituality & Service in action: Summit seventh graders recently participated in a day of service and team building during our annual Bike Building Day! Students worked together to assemble bicycles that were donated to NewPath and CancerFree Kids. Throughout the day, they learned the meaning and impact of giving your time, talent and treasure to those in need. 🚲 #summitcds #philanthropy by @summitcds

This year's Friday Knight Lights was a huge success! 💙 We had so much fun helping middle school students get to know The Summit ahead of our football game against Norwood...which we won 47-6! Students in grades 7 through 12 spent time playing games, eating pizza and showing off their Summit pride on Thurner Field.

And shoutout to our Cougar Football and i9 Sports players who joined the Silver Knights on the field! 🏈
