None of this happens without the people who show up and make it real. The energy this weekend was unreal. Til next year.

Tattoo done at @summitinvitational 🖤

Such a pleasure to be part of an incredible community, surrounded by so many talented artists who share the same passion and respect for the craft. It’s inspiring to see tattooing treated with the love, dedication, and respect it deserves.

Grateful for the experience and everyone who made it special. Until next time! 🤘

We are not separate from nature. We are part of it.

With this piece, I wanted to express the deep connection between humanity and the earth through a sense of reflection, meditation, peace, and acceptance. A reminder to slow down, reconnect with our roots, and recognize that we belong to something much greater than ourselves.

In a world that constantly tries to disconnect us from nature and make us forget who we are, sometimes the most important thing we can do is simply remember.

This piece was created for Mike at this year’s @summitinvitational in Denver. Mike was one of the first people to put his trust in me when I arrived here, and since then, we’ve shared several projects. Beyond being an incredible client, he’s a great human being.

— Always working with @radiantcolorsink and @red_rooster_tattoo_supply
— Supported by my brothers and teammates at @longlivetattoocollective

Thank you for the trust, Mike. taken in Denver, Colorado by @summitinvitational

I had a fantastic opportunity to visit with Colin this weekend at the Summit Invitational and took third in the Abstract category! It’s an honor to have placed among such a distinguished collection of other artists and to get to see this healed sleeve we finished last year.

Thank you again @darlgnau for hosting us. This week learning form some really amazing artists, making new friends and working alongside so many wonderful creatives was truly fantastic and I’m incredibly grateful to have been included again!

I’ve had a little time to decompress, but I’m still emotionally taken aback by the incredible experience that the Summit Invitational is becoming.

There’s something almost indescribable about watching an idea that once existed only in your mind come to life. To see people not only embrace that vision, but experience it the way you hoped they would, and then express their genuine appreciation for it… I’m not sure I have the words for what that feels like.

It means more to me than I can adequately express.

And while I may receive the bulk of the credit, the truth is that the vision may have started with me, but it takes an incredible group of people to bring it to life.

I want to take a moment to recognize the people who make all of this possible.

First and foremost, Mia @all.access.joy. Without her, I genuinely don’t know if Summit would have happened this year. She has worn more hats than I can count. While her team spearheads our marketing, her involvement reaches into virtually every aspect of this event. From finding our venue to hospitality, entertainment, logistics, and a thousand things most people will never see. Her dedication has been nothing short of extraordinary.

More….➡️⬇️➡️⬇️

Ari Smith, @aiannavsmith my right hand in administration, who somehow manages to keep all the moving parts organized, on track, and moving forward. The kind of behind-the-scenes work that is absolutely essential but rarely gets the recognition it deserves.

Alex Larsen @heavyhandles, who has been part of this journey since its inception. He’s the creative force behind our branding and visual identity, helping give Summit a recognizable character and aesthetic that reflects what we’re trying to build.
@hoon_kim_10p for being the top notch Em Cee that he is
And of course, my entire family at @realgonedenver. I’m incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by a team that believes in what we’re doing and is always eager to step up, contribute, and support this vision. I couldn’t as taken in Denver, Colorado by @summitinvitational

I felt the love this weekend. During these kind of weird times radiating within tattooing, it feels even more important to "water the garden at home"... thank you to my clients for popping in, showing up, supporting our projects, and sharing them with everyone this weekend. Even @unityofnoise wanting to enter in worst tattoo because you know, we all start somewhere. It was so funny, he jumped right in on that because he loves showing that 💩

Coming home with so many recognitions feels surreal...to the point of tears at one point. Not that getting awards makes or breaks anything but it sure does feel good to be seen. I tend to keep to myself, head down, buried in my own thing. So thank you for the love. We wouldn't be here without our clients and friends.

✨thank you @summitinvitational @darlgnau for holding space for us to all work together. These events tend to be the only time we see our tattoo buddies from around town, or across the country.

✨Thank you @hoon_kim_10p for bringing such great energy.

✨thank you @rawpigments for the sets of ink!

These trophies are super sick, and heavy... please tag the creator for me...

Can't wait until next time 🫶🏽
