πŸ”οΈ SWA LEGACY AWARDπŸ”οΈ For over two decades, Michael Pryor (Mike Hay) has been a driving force behind the Summit Wrestling Association, helping build SWA from the ground up and creating a place where wrestlers, champions, and fans could call home. From the early days of Clan Hay, a legendary group that helped mold and mentor countless young talentsβ€”including Joseph Brooks, Tank Thomas, Shawn Patrick, Chucky Wynn, TJay Sykes, and many othersβ€”to the present day, Mike's influence can be found throughout the history of SWA. His vision, leadership, sacrifice, and dedication have helped shape not only the Summit Wrestling Association, but the careers and lives of those who have passed through its doors. On November 7th, at SWA's 21st Anniversary Event, we proudly present the SWA Legacy Award to the man who helped build the foundation upon which the Summit continues to stand. "What Can We Do?" After 4 years as serving as SWA's chief photographer, Kayla Jayde is looking to do more than just be on the sidelines. At One More Mountain To Climb, Kayla showed where she stood in the battle between HOUSE of PAIN & SWA by laying out HOP's Allen Davison. Now Kayla is looking for more and to see what Chad Higgs (who is the liaison to SWA Owner Mike Hay) can do to make something happen.....And quite frankly, shes EARNED more. SIDNEY PORTER On November 7th, as the Summit Wrestling Association celebrates 21 years, we are proud to welcome one of the true originals into the SWA Hall of Fame β€” Sidney Porter (FKA Tank Thomas) Porter is more than an SWA legend. He is part of the foundation upon which this company was built. An SWA Original and longtime representative of the company, Sidney Porter became the first Grand Slam Champion in SWA history, capturing the Mid-Atlantic Championship, Showcase Division Championship, Tag Team Championship, and SWA Heavyweight Championship. For years, Porter was one of the faces of the Summit Wrestling Association. From his early days as a member of Mike Hays' legendary Clan Hay, through his championship accomplishments and countless moments inside an SWA ring, Sidney helped establish what SWA would become. Now, 21 years after the journey began, we take a moment to recognize the man and the legacy. Thank you, Sidney Porter, for your dedication, your contributions, and for helping build the foundation of the Summit Wrestling Association. Your place in SWA history is forever.
