Ama Dablam Summit 6,812 m / 22,349 ftWhen you’re dancing at 6,800 meters the cardio hits different. First warm ups you can dance 5-8 seconds max, but by the end of the session, you find a groove and can kick it for 12-15 seconds at a time. Dingboche marks a turning point in the Khumbu.The forests fade away, the air grows noticeably thinner, and life begins to revolve around the rhythm of the high mountains. Ama Dablam views from Pangboche.Before continuing our trek toward Dingboche, our team stopped in Pangboche for a Puja ceremony at the oldest monastery in the Khumbu.Looking back at Ama Dablam from the monastery brought back memories from last year’s climb. From this viewpoint, you can trace the entire route from Camp 1, to Camp 2, Camp 3 on the Mushroom Ridge, and finally the 6,812 m summit.It’s incredible how small the camps look from down here, knowing how much effort it takes to reach each one.🧗 @gmt_adventures #amadablam #pangboche #khumbu #mountaineering #himalayas by @summitshuffler

Nangkartshang Peak 5,083 m / 16,676 ftOne of my favorite acclimatization hikes in the Khumbu. At 5,083 meters, every breath delivers only about half the oxygen available at sea level, making this the perfect place to begin adapting before an Everest attempt.Had to rep the Gravity dance studio t-shirt on this one.
