The Weatherford Classic was a day full of incredible strength, great competition, and an even better community! 💪 Events like this wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of our sponsors, and we want to take a moment to recognize @purefunding , our official Deadlift Event Sponsor! Based right here in Weatherford, Texas, Pure Funding is another great example of a local business stepping up to invest in its community. Their willingness to support this year’s competition helped us provide an awesome experience for our athletes and everyone who came out to cheer them on! We’re incredibly thankful for businesses like Pure Funding that recognize the value of bringing people together through events like the Weatherford Classic. A huge thank you to the entire Pure Funding team for helping make this year’s competition one to remember! 🎥 Check out some of the incredible pulls from the Pure Funding Deadlift Event! by @sumnerhaye
Nothing quite compares to watching athletes put some serious weight overhead, and the Log Press Event at this year’s Weatherford Classic did not disappoint! 💪 We want to recognize another incredible local business that helped make this competition possible, @western.rs , our official Log Press Event Sponsor! We’re grateful for their willingness to invest in events like the Weatherford Classic and support the athletes who dedicate so much time and effort to this sport. Having the support of businesses in our own backyard means a great deal to our team, and we hope our strongman community will show that same support to the companies that helped make this event possible! I once heard a fellow strongman make the point to be thankful for the strength you have because you may never know when it could be taken away. Could be from an injury, over time as we age, loss of passion, etc. there have been plenty of times in the midst of injuries that I look back and miss the level I was at even though at that time, I was only focused on more. In this moment now, I’m thankful for the strength God has blessed me with. So much of my time is focused on where I want to be and not much to take the time to reflect and be grateful for the moment. There’s still more in the tank here and an excited to continue growing! On another note, I am proud to share I will be continuing as an athlete for @officialgasp ! It is such an honor to be a part of the family and I cannot wait to continue to work and champion the brand. by @sumnerhaye
The Haye Family was pleased to run and present the Weatherford Classic for its 2nd year in a row over this past weekend! We saw athletes battle it out from challenge after challenge and PR after PR - It ended up being a great day! We could not have put on a show without the support from our sponsors and community. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you! @metroflexweatherford for opening up your doors and providing the venue and majority of the equipment. @officialgasp for their support in providing gifts, gift bags, goodies and shirts for every athlete! @texaspowerbars for helping us to have great prizes for our top male and female Open Class athletes. Also a special thanks to our Event Title Sponsors: - Zercher/Sandbag: @jrjinc - Max Log Press: @western.rs - Deadlift for Reps: @purefunding - Weight Over Bar: @svn_trinity_advisors - Truck Pull: @unitedglasscommercial Last, but certainly not the least, we are blessed for wives who stepped in and managed scoring throughout the day! We are grateful and blessed to be a part of this community and are forever thankful for every sponsor who supported, and athlete that showed up to be a part of our day. We’re sifting through content this week and will share when we can recaps of the day! by @sumnerhaye
285x5 on Log Clean and Press. Today was a very successful day for many reasons: - I got to train with my younger (can’t say little anymore) brother @strongman.sutton today. - Yesterday, I got a tune up with @coachmarr at @marrstrength focusing on my lower half and I’m feeling fantastic! - Also, yesterday I came down with a stomach bug but still managed to hit my goal number today knowing I wasn’t 100% yet. Some people may say I have that dog in me but really I’m powered by life long ambitions and @officialgasp 💪 use HAYE15 for a discount toward your next purchase! by @sumnerhaye

Finished up my arm day with some grip work! This dumbbell is 70lbs blank and was so tall, I had to shrug to keep it off the ground😂 Powered by @officialgasp 15% off Code: Haye15 ______________________________ #gasp #nocompromises #tx #strongman by @sumnerhaye
