#memorymonday❤️ As I turn 50... I love to talk about the memories of the old days... that's what I just spent my weekend doing and the smiles & laughs gave me so much joy❤️

1st pic- This is a huge memory for me... I remember in the 80s this was the dress code for women... it was so sophisticated... as a young girl... I watched and studied my aunts along with these ladies ...the fashion and clothing items they would wear... you talking silk dresses w/ the shoulder pads and some snakeskin heels... and a mushroom or short cut hairstyle to finish the look... you were that girl if you looked like this... this is how I learned and created fashion by the women and men in Kenilworth.... the fashion was not a game.... ❤️ peep the MCM👌

2nd pic... Tower of Power... 92-94... it was only three years unlike today... we were the last of the class that was able to leave campus to go off to lunch for 50mins.... this meant anywhere you wanted to go... but you're butt better be back for 5th period ....my girl @nicolethekey had a car... so we caught that ride out.... or we hung on Division Ave... it was a time...at first we didn't have metal detectors... we didn't have to live a life like that getting checked coming in... We had ESCALATORS... this was the best of Woodson.... they knocked it down... 😒... it was time❤️
