⬛️LIBERTY IS SACRED⬛️

When freedom becomes something to worship, what happens to everything we are willing to justify in its name?

A piece exploring the glorification of guns and identity.

I wanted to treat the visual almost like a religious icon that feels increasingly uncomfortable the longer you look at it.

Built with Photoshop and Illustrator, using the original Trace Paper by @design.syndrome

⬛️FREE RIG⬛️

One of my favorite moments in graphic design is exploring that a tiny object can become something completely different when you change the way you see and treat it.

A small fishing weight, given a little more weight. Almost industrial.

⬛️Design Dojo Assignment // Number 11⬛️

Happy to be back on the design assignments!

For this one, I had to make a fictional tour poster for one of the newcomers I’ve been listening to a lot lately: @vince.mp3

So I gave him a fictional European tour and called it STRANGE WEATHERS. Hopefully I’ll get to see him here in Berlin one day 🤞🏻

⬛️PATTERNS OF SELF⬛️

We mistake repetition for identity.

Our habits shape our behaviours.
Our behaviours become patterns.
And after repeating them long enough, we start calling them personality.

But a pattern is not a personality.
It’s just something we learned to repeat.

⬛️ECHOES OF A LOVE⬛️

Some things end long before they’re gone.

A piece about distance, detachment, and the feeling of slowly losing someone who’s still there.

⬛️ MUTED STATES ⬛️

32 gradient maps.
Made for muted colours, faded tones, and everything in between.

Gradient maps were one of the first assets I ever bought when I started designing around 18 months ago. They completely changed the way I approached colour and quickly became a big part of my workflow.

Over time, I started building my own around the tones I naturally gravitate towards — soft blacks, aged colours, imperfect contrasts, and that slightly nostalgic feeling we often chase in our compositions.

So I ended up putting together a pack of my own.

And I wanted to give it back.

MUTED STATES is completely free, with no email, no catch, and no paywall. Just download it, throw it into Photoshop, experiment with it, and make something.

You can find the pack through the link in my bio while I slowly build out my own website and create a proper home for my work, resources, and everything else to come.

And if you end up using it, I’d genuinely love to see what you make.

⬛️THE STEPPE⬛️

Just a man, a horse, and an unreasonable amount of wind.

Somewhere between history, imagination, and some Photoshop.

⬛️THE NEXT HORIZON⬛️

Three horses on the run.
A step into something unknown.

This piece marks an important moment for me as I finally took the next step towards the future I want to build in design.

It’s also my first time working with the Trace Paper Pack by @design.syndrome and I could honestly spend hours customizing the smallest details and watching the piece slowly evolve.

Distance, movement, and the idea that every new horizon starts somewhere.

The next chapter begins here.

⬛️DISTANCE & PRESENCE⬛️

Gave myself the goal of working with a fixed set of colors and using no imagery at all, instead just forms and typography.

When I started to put forms together I ended up with something that looks like a sunset horizon through a door frame or window, making this the base of my composition.

Biggest challenge of all things is scaling things right.

Curious to hear how did I do?

⬛️THE FIRST FEAR OF BECOMING⬛️

A very abstract homage to Art & Fear.

The book made me wonder when fear actually begins.

The fear that arrives the moment we become aware enough to create, question, and become. The fear of failure.

Maybe it starts much earlier than we think.

⬛️THE COST OF A FULL STOMACH⬛️

Made this after hearing “The Dog & The Wolf” by @getbenny

The dog wears a tan line where the collar should be.

A human mark on an animal. Maybe the tale was never about dogs or wolves.

⬛️THE PERFECT BAIT⬛️

A fishing lure doesn’t force the bite. It simply looks like exactly what you’re already searching for.

Swap plastic and metal for likes, messages and notifications, and suddenly the metaphor feels a little too familiar.

The strange part? I’m posting this here. 🎣

Cooked this up during an evening at the @design.syndrome coworking space in his discord. Cool to stream the process to chill people and get feedback.
