Dear 2025,

You didn’t just change my life, you changed me.
You made me slow down, soften, grow in ways I didn’t know I needed.
This was the year I became a mother.
Not just any mother, but a mommy to a little girl. Ariella, You taught me that love could be quieter and deeper than anything I’d ever known. That strength could look like gentleness, that my heart could live outside of my body and still feel safe.
Lord, you asked me to unlearn so much.
To heal old wounds so they wouldn’t reach her, to choose patience over reaction, to become the kind of woman I’d want her to learn from.
Some days I was tired, scared.
But every day, I showed up and that counts for everything.
You taught me that my life is no longer just mine, It’s an example now. A home, a foundation.
And in becoming your mommy, I found parts of myself I thought were lost! Softness, my “pink”, purpose, and a love that feels so eternal.
Oh 2025, you were messy, beautiful, overwhelming, and sacred. You remade me… Goodbye, 2025.
