30 times around the sun. ✨🎉

I turned 30 a month ago and I’m still floating. Filled with much gratitude, love, positivity and peace. Had to share these moments. ✨

My time in Philly was incredible, books coming soon, party was a smash. ✨🎉Jamaica rooted me and grounded me in exactly the way I expected and also in ways I didn’t. But it was beautiful to touch my roots, put my toes in it and breathe the air. Soon return 🇯🇲✨.

I have returned changed but remained the same. A union of my soul. Shit so clear now, natural mystic and allat. ❤️💛💚✨.

Feeling like a clean slate and fresh chapter from a fresh book, and the little girl inside of me is in awe of the woman in the mirror. She thinks she’s cool af. 🫂✨

The 20s were good, but from here, I bloom. 🌸🌺🌼🌸🌺🌼

✌🏿✌🏿✌🏿✌🏿to my 20s, good riddance 😭✨ and good luck to all those still in those years 🫂✨

As spring blossoms and my 30th earf strong approaches I could not forget to celebrate and express gratitude on the winter I had. 🌺 🌼 ❄️ ✨

Celebrating my best friends 30th birthday @bhasan_poet in New Orleans with my man @d3ngo_d3ngo_d3ngo who’s birthday it also was, was an incredible and fun and beautiful time. NOLA is beautiful and rich, although the legacy of Katrina still shadows. I pay homage and respect and am greateful for all the fun and dope memories It’s a city that never sleeps fr. 🌸🌺 ❄️✨

The @highmuseumofart had an incredible exhibit Fashion Statements was such a lovely time and so inspiring. Can’t wait for my next visit. Happiest birthday to my big sister again @bbigkysss had a fucking blast. ✨🎉 . Shout out to @vegandreamting for an incredible 100th year celebration of black history too I was so moved. 🌸🌺❄️✨

Seeing Katt Williams this past Valentine’s Day was an incredible gift and privilege. I’ve seen Katt since I was a kid in that all green suit for his comedy special on YouTube so to see him live in this lifetime was so amazing and truly my favorite way to celebrate black history month because he’s an icon. Thank you to my man. 🌸🌺❄️✨

Let’s not forget this past February was yhe 100th year celebration of black history month. We are black history, we are black beauty, and we are black resilience. 🌸🌺❄️✨

It was a long cold and brittle winter, but the most beautiful thing about winter is that spring is never far away to melt the frost in our minds and spirits. Now is the time to bloom again. Despite the craziness of this world and this country we are infinite, we are a mirror to the universe and all its beauty resides within us and is reflected.✨

Thank you to for making each black history month so special and celebrating all the forms we come in, you shouted and Rastas and Philly which touched me personally. @notwildlin ✨

I’m so excited going into spring as this is my 30th one making it so special and has me feeling so grounded. Can’t wait to party and celebrate with my friends and family all month/year. ❄️🌺✨

last curtain call on fall 25’ ✨🍂🍁🍃

As we all know in the fall the leaves dust the grass, tress shed, and the weather changes. How beautiful that the human experience can be the exact same way. 🍃🍂✨

We shed, we change, we become bare just so we can rest and reset to bloom again. ✨🍂🍃

I am thankful for life, and the chance to get up and continue to enjoy, explore and celebrate it. Despite all the unpredictability and sometimes harshness of it. ✨🍃🍂

Give thanks to the the almighty and give thanks to the love and support of those I hold dear, and being able to have the love of loved ones. ✨🍃🍂

My anniversary was wonderful, moving into a new place with the love of my life, @d3ngo_d3ngo_d3ngo has been long overdue and incredible, Philly was fun and comforting. Seeing my nieces and nephews and celebrating my mother’s birthday was so lovely made the happiest I’ve been in awhile. @osg_kutta_ @slimeyyshii215 @___ayyb_ additionally seeing my friends @mirymccabe @hippiedipz @bhasan_poet I love you all so much. ✨🍃🍂

Halloween was a hoot as Lil Jon I haven’t had that much fun in years, doing a Rasta display at my job was so rewarding , and Thanksgiving was full of fun too, breaking the tradition (shackles) of cooking all day and just eating somewhere nice I loved it lol ✨🍃🍂

Life is beautiful when you let it be. ✨🍃🍂

I am full of thanks all around and most importantly giving thanks to myself, and all the ways I was brave enough to let the leaves die so I could rediscover my bones and blossom as the spring of my 30th year approaches. ✨🍃🍂

Happiest anniversary to the love of my life, the yin to my yang, the music to my dance, the sky to my stars, the lighthouse to my sea. 3 years has passed and it still feels like the beginning all the time, warm and happy full of love and constant laughter and life.✨✨✨

das a wrap on summer 25’ ✨

This past summer was truly one of transformation and also identification. For many years I have only been myself in the shadows and someone else for everyone else.✨

Now I step into my strangeness, my uniqueness, my truth without being concerned with how others may feel. Although most of this summer I spent deeply heartbroken and often down. I have not let those things crumble me.✨

I am so thankful for life and the opportunity to create, build, and most importantly recieve all that’s been waiting on me. ✨

From tripping on shrooms at carnival, to 4 months of sobriety, partying in Dallas, moving and sleeping on couches and in my car, just being fly and beautiful the most important thing summer 25’ gave me was a reacquaintance with myself.✨

And I’m so glad to finally meet her, even thought I’ve known her all along.

summer finale 🌺 ☀️✨

(shout out to @hippiedippylovelyweirdo for reminding summertime is for sweet treats and fun) ✨🫶🏿

I can’t begin to write on all the lessons and growth and pain this past summer has bought out of me, but I can express the upmost gratitude for all of it cause I’ve come out brighter and stronger. ✨

Life can get tricky, and due to that it’s so important to get back to self, get back to your joy, get back to your goals. Because at the end of the day it’s alright to be full of yourself, what else should you fill your life with but you, and all your dreams and all your personality and all the things that make you feel alive. ✨

Between fun trips, Dallas was much needed chill and vibe session, working three jobs, one of which is at the dope Imhotep Academy, working on my writing (2 submissions, a book, and a manuscript), finishing my 80 hours of community service, not smoking for four months and all the revelations from that, reading again, losing my apartment and just coming back to my own self, it’s been a whirlwind but I wouldn’t trade it in the slightest. Because I’ve built a home inside of myself now. ✨

I challenge you to find yourself wherever and however many times you need and to recognize how special and important your life is, cause you’ll blink and it’s passed.✨

I’ll be 30 this year and I feel like my entire 20s is a blur because of pain and distractions. I want moving forward my life to be full of peace, softness, and memories I can cherish.

Shout out to my friends I love you (@bhasan_poet , @hippiedippylovelyweirdo , @mirymccabe , @sugargaloree just to name a few. shout out to my sissy’s for always being there in big and small ways @oh_kaykk_007 & @bran___ded.co . Shout out to my man @d3ngo_d3ngo_d3ngo who picks me up and holds my hand as we walk through rain and sunshine, and most importantly thank you to the almighty Jah who continues to cloak and bless me. ❤️💛💚
