"Gravity's Suggestion"

Not every move is finished before you make it. Some of it you find on the way down.

How to spin on the side of your foot — step by step 🤘🏼

1️⃣: Roll your ankles in circles to build strength and get comfortable shifting weight to the side of your foot.
2️⃣: Balance on the side of your foot and hop 4 times in a full circle. Focus on staying upright and keeping control with each hop.
3️⃣: Reduce to 90° hops. One hop per quarter turn. This builds momentum while relying less on repetition to stay balanced.

Once you've got the basics, try linking it into one clean spin. From there, the variations are endless.

Stay safe and follow for the next tutorial. 🤘🏼

3 years together and 2 years married on this same day.

Life will always be a mystery, and I'm grateful for all its wonders. Somehow, they brought us together and gave us beautiful memories. Although it all happened so fast, it feels like a lifetime.

10 mistakes I made in 7 years of hip-hop freestyle, and the fix for each 👇

1. Comparing my year 2 to someone's year 7 → Compare to last month's you
2. Practicing choreography to get better at freestyle → Drill concepts, not routines
3. Never practicing in silence → Create your own rhythm
4. Watching battles for moves, not decisions → Study why they chose it
5. Only one tempo, only battle beats → Listen widely and play with half-time and double-time
6. Freestyling with no plan → Pick one thing to work on each session, including the in-between moments
7. Judging sessions by the camera → Judge by feel, then review
8. Ignoring my facial expression → Check the mirror, then let it come from the music
9. Taking every piece of advice → Keep only what fits you and your feeling
10. Training only 45-second battle rounds → Run longer rounds, dance isn't only for battles

Save this for your next session. Which one hit you the hardest? 👇

Some days the dancing is the fight, not the escape from it.

Round 1: Upper body

Reflection of my Nami-Flow: threading, waving, isolation, rocking, bounce, direction changes, groove, timing manipulation.

I remember for so many years, I had a disconnection with my upper body as my dance journey started with breaking. Now seeing all the training and hard work I've put in to understand how to use my arms and upper body and connecting them with the lower.

These moments keep me going and keep reminding me of the struggles I've been through before and how I've matured so much ✨️

Thanks @ladifference_saigon for a dope session 🔥 We definitely need more of these 🤘🏼

Knee touch concept for your freestyle 🔥

Most of us get stuck in freestyle because we only think about the next move. Keep it simple and let the idea do the work.

Change the level, the timing, or the direction and the same concept looks completely different. Try all three and tag me.

Pick an opponent nobody else can see.

React to what they do, not what you planned.
Punch on the accents, block in the gaps.
Let the beat decide when you attack and when you slip.

Freestyle gets sharper when it has a reason.

Born with a stammer.
Dance gave me the voice I couldn't find in words.

I came to Vietnam 🇻🇳 to grow beyond what I knew.
The dance community back home and here gave that. Dance gave me everything else.

Still dancing. Still speaking.
