SUN & THUNDER | HASTA SIEMPRE

Sun & Thunder llega a su final.

Cuando empezamos a imaginar este proyecto queríamos crear un festival a nuestra manera. Un festival pensado para crecer y quedarse muchos años, para Andalucía, y hacerlo además en un entorno que desde el principio nos encantó: Marenostrum Fuengirola.

Dos ediciones después, ha llegado el momento de despedirnos.

Y queremos hacerlo desde el orgullo de haberlo intentado y, sobre todo, desde todo lo bonito que hemos vivido.

Durante estos días hemos disfrutado de grandes conciertos y de un ambiente fantástico, pero nos quedamos especialmente con las personas. Hemos hablado con muchos de vosotros, hemos escuchado cómo habéis vivido el festival, qué habéis disfrutado, qué os ha sorprendido y también, por supuesto, qué cosas podríamos haber hecho mejor.

Han sido conversaciones sinceras, cercanas y muchas veces emocionantes.

Y nos han hecho reflexionar sobre algo.

Las redes sociales son una herramienta extraordinaria, pero también tienen un enorme poder para distorsionar la realidad. Una conversación repetida una y otra vez puede acabar construyendo una imagen que parece incuestionable desde fuera, aunque lo que sucede dentro sea muy diferente.

Estos días hemos sentido especialmente esa distancia.

Porque hemos vivido muchas cosas bonitas que el mundo de las redes difícilmente puede reflejar: gente disfrutando junta de la música, nuevos amigos, abrazos después de un concierto, artistas emocionados, conversaciones con personas que habían viajado cientos o miles de kilómetros, sonrisas, agradecimientos y un ambiente del que nos sentimos profundamente orgullosos.

Y es importante para nosotros decirlo hoy, porque quienes habéis estado aquí habéis conocido el festival desde dentro, más allá de cualquier relato construido alrededor de él.

Esta ha sido la última edición de Sun & Thunder.

Las circunstancias que han rodeado el desarrollo del proyecto no nos permiten darle continuidad. Habrá otros momentos y otros lugares para analizar todo lo sucedido. Hoy no queremos lamentarnos ni señalar a nadie. Hoy queremos despedirnos y dar las gracias.

@soenmusic han sido los encargados de cerrar el escenario de Sun & Thunder con un directo intenso, potente y cargado de esa atmósfera tan suya.

Tres días de festival tenían que terminar con un concierto a la altura.

Soen ha puesto el punto final. Nosotros todavía estamos asimilando todo lo que ha pasado aquí. 🤘

Tantos meses esperando este momento. Y acaba de pasar. ⚡

@avantasiaofficial ha traído esta noche a Fuengirola todo el universo de Tobias Sammet en una única fecha en España.

Todo lo que habíamos imaginado se ha quedado pequeño: canciones que llevábamos años esperando volver a escuchar, voces increíbles, una producción enorme y un escenario convertido por completo en el mundo de Avantasia.

Qué noche. Qué concierto. Qué absoluta locura. 🔥🤘

So many months waiting for this moment. And it just happened. ⚡

Tonight, Avantasia brought the entire universe of Tobias Sammet to Fuengirola for their one and only show in Spain.

Everything we had imagined fell short: songs we’d been waiting years to hear live again, incredible voices, a huge production, and a stage completely transformed into the world of Avantasia.

Han salido, han pisado el acelerador desde el primer tema y nos han dejado una buena dosis de heavy metal de la que todavía estamos recuperándonos.
