Vernissage: 19.8.2026, 6pm ✨ Fotogalerie Wien

from 20.8.-26.8.2026 i will exhibit my project in a group exhibition @fotogaleriewien with @schulefriedlkubelka_photo

𝘪 𝘧𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘺 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘯 𝘱𝘩𝘰𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘱𝘩𝘺

over the last winter i poured all my energy into this photography project, which i created in the darkroom.

it was a fluid, intuitive attempt to capture my inner thoughts and grasp, in depth, the feelings that were lingering beneath my skin.

in 𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳 i lost my dear opa. for many years, he was a sacristan. that‘s how the symbolism connects to my process and this project, as my mum gave me his rosaries, which i hold onto dearly.

in 𝘫𝘢𝘯𝘶𝘢𝘳𝘺, it was the 25th anniversary of my papa’s death.

in 𝘧𝘦𝘣𝘳𝘶𝘢𝘳𝘺, i turned 34, which also means that i’m now older than my papa ever was. that is a unique emotion in itself.

it is an ongoing project, as i will carry these memories with me forever. taken in Fotogalerie Wien by @sunaryna
