BOSTON, we’re back for THE SESSION VOL. 2
A celebration of the sounds that bring us together — Amapiano, Afro House, Afro Tech, Gqom ,3-Step & Bouyon .
We’re bringing you another night of infectious rhythms, shared energy, and connection through music. Let the DJs take you on a journey through different sounds, where we come together, lose ourselves in the rhythm, and move as one.

Why do we focus on emerging artists like @sunbeam.queen? Because Boston’s creative future isn’t somewhere else. It’s rightchea, waiting for a stage.

Here’s what drives us:

🎤 Emerging artists are local, and they need real opportunities to take the next step in their careers.
🏙️ We don’t want them to leave Boston😭. We want them to thrive here as our creative infrastructure grows and evolves.
🌱 We want to grow with them, not just book them once.
🤝🏽 Every show builds mutual followings organically. Their fans discover us, our community discovers them.
🖤 It builds trust locally, one room and one show at a time.
💸 Investing in local talent keeps money and opportunity circulating in our own neighborhoods.
✊🏽 Too many BIPOC artists face gaps in access to stages, pay, and industry networks. Opening doors early is how we help close them.
💡 And to keep it a stack? There’s nothing like seeing an artist before everyone else knows their name.

Every pop-up activation is a chance to prove that Boston can grow its own.

Are you an emerging artist in Greater Boston? Tap the link in bio or send us a DM. Let’s build something together.✌🏽

⭐️Introducing our sonic curators for Strictly Piano:

SUNBEAM (@sunbeam.queen) is a Boston-based actress, writer, poet, and most recently, DJ. Blending her East African roots with music from across the Black diaspora, SUNBEAM creates an eclectic sonic soundscape sure to transport you across the world. Tying together the riddims of the Caribbean, the lyrics of the Dirty South, and the grooves of South Africa, a night with DJ Sunbeam is one you won’t forget.

The DJ community is something truly special.

This community has taught me to embrace being vulnerable, take risks with my sound, and welcome new challenges head-on. The collective creativity, the late-night track swaps, and the pure support among us is unmatched.

Knowing I have this network of DJs cheering me on, sharing advice, and lifting each other up has made all the difference. Shoutout to every single DJ who has shared a line-up, offered a word of encouragement, or just danced in the crowd. We’ve built an incredible space here, and I’m so grateful for this ride!
