CKaabal. Let me reintroduce you.

These two write. Produce. Perform. Create. Film. Edit. Build worlds. Tear them apart and build them again.

Aaron and Alberto came from Albuquerque with a lot of music, a lot of ideas and a belief in what CKaabal could become. The level of creativity between these two is honestly kind of insane.

And there is a team around them who somehow helps pull all of the madness, ideas and creativity together. You know who you are. 🖤

It has been a crazy, wild ride. Studios. Trains. Sets. Long nights. Arguments. Breakthroughs. A lot of laughing. A lot of figuring shit out. Their first Los Angeles show at Gold-Diggers. And through all of it, more and more music.

Today CKaabal releases PULLIN’ IT OFF.

And they are.

This fall, we take this thing on the road.

I’m incredibly proud of these two and what we are building together at The November Society.

People ask me what they sound like because everyone needs a reference. I often say Depeche Mode meets The Killers with a sprinkle of Kurt Cobain. It’s a good starting point. But they are CKaabal. It sounds like CKaabal.

The wild part is, I know what’s sitting on those hard drives. Whole albums worth of music.

The best is yet to come.

55!!
Years of life.
Years of reflection.
By God’s grace, I’m still here—healthy, fit, and more grounded than ever. Thank you for all the love and birthday wishes.

I’m thankful for the friendships that held me through storms and celebrated me in sunlight. You know who you are.
For my family that’s rooted me, challenged me, and loved me through it all.
Grateful for the hard lessons that shaped me.
For love, in all its forms.

I’m not always visible, but I am always present.
And these days, I value peace above all. by @sundafu
