It’s been 3 weeks without you.
I know my life will simply never be the same.
You fought such a hard battle... you left me way too soon.
Although, I know you are with me, holding my hand forever and always Dad…
thank you for everything you have done for me.. the childhood you gave me.. you have left this world with an impact to last a lifetime and an everlasting imprint on who I am as a person.
I have lost my first true love, my soulmate, the best friend I ever had.. the person who understood me more than anyone ever has and saw right through my soul.
I don’t think I’ll ever find the words to describe how heartbroken I truely feel…💔
I will forever long for your embrace, your words, your insight and wisdom.. your genuine kindness and your ability to love and protect like no other.
When I close my eyes, I see you so clearly.. I feel you deep in my heart.
please, hold my hand and guide me dad, know I will always listen.
I will always look for you in all the beauty of our world, just like you told me.
until we meet again, my angel of light.

For those who know our situation, you would know that my Dad is unwell.
He has been diagnosed with Terminal brain cancer, and has been given an estimate of 6 to 12 months to live. My Dad is one of or if not the most important person to me in the entire world.
I am heartbroken beyond words.
I have always had such a beautiful connection with my Dad. We grew up together, and he’s given me the best childhood possible. He provides me with so much love, wisdom and always, always, reminds me how much he loved me every chance he gets.
From holding my hand when I was a baby, watching me grow up, seeing me blossom and turn into the person that I have become, growing old together- has always been a long term dream for the both of us in our lifetime. It aches my heart to know that my greatest fear has come true, that our time has been cut so short.
If I had it my way, I would want to stay with him forever.
My Dad has always been my greatest inspiration, he is the most creative person I know. Growing up I always looked up to my Dad, as everywhere we go, every drive out to the country, every early morning walk through the hills together- every time, he always seems to find the beauty in our world. I have realised that I have taken this with me growing up, and have been conditioned since a young age to stop, literally stop the car, get out, and admire the smallest, compositional beauties that only my Dad would notice.
We have made a Go Fund Me, to support the future for Mum (Shelly), Gabriel, Raphael and I when Dad passes. If you can donate, just know we are so grateful for any small donation we receive, honestly, anything will help us out. I will be inserting the link in my bio for access. We have been overwhelmed with the amount of love and support our family has received over the week, we are so lucky to have such a great community of friends and family who are willing to help us and provide support.
He is the most important person to me, and without a doubt I know that our unbreakable bond will live on forever. But right now he’s here, and we are making every second count.

sound up for thailand !

In february I spent my first time overseas with two of my beautiful best friends. seperating from the familiarity of australia, it was the most awakening and evolving experiences i have ever been lucky to witness. I’ve always known myself to me worldly and curious, but stepping away from home and into the unknown is something i’d never done to this extent.. spending time in Ban Chiang where we fell completely in love with Mooks relatives.. speaking little to no english, communicating through Mook or otherwise simply through gestures, smiles and laughter. i’ve gained new family and sisters for life, a place i can forever go back to, and a place i felt really sad to leave behind. so many times i stepped back and thought- I really did see and feel pure love and kindness transcend language.. realising that your people and community are all you truely need to be happy in life.
a time i really will never ever forget, these people and this adventure will remain close to me forever.
