EXTHEL is the corporation that runs and owns the space mining operation. From suits to tools to equipment, miners are hard pressed not to see the omnipresent logo of the parent company that they toil under. @shreyakdraws character concept artist @caleb.z_123 3D character artist The Creative Director: @kaig_draws The Mining Work Suit - These suits, mass-produced by EXTHEL, were designed to shield the nomadic miners as they mine helium-3. The suits come equipped with a pressurized tourniquet system that, in case of an emergency, constricts blood flow quickly to mitigate injury. @shreyakdraws character concept artist @caleb.z_123 3D character artist The headpiece of the suit has a detachable face mask that allows for easy removal in safe zones. While deviating from standard-issue is technically prohibited, miners will customize face masks for their individual needs and to make themselves easily identifiable to others. @shreyakdraws character concept artist @caleb.z_123 3D character artist The suits consist of 2 layers: a thick quilted insulation layer to protect wearers from the cold vacuum of space, followed by a neoprene-esque and nylon weave layer. They have high-visibility patches around the body. 🥳We’re so proud to unveil the first look at concept art for Sunday Studios’ newest IP, Helios Rebellion.🧑‍🚀⛏️ We will be posting more work in the coming weeks that has been created by the amazing Helios Rebellion team. For the inaugural post, we want give a shout out and thank all the artists who have brought the project to life in space. Set in a western neoimperialist future fueled by helium-3, we follow a radicalized space-miner and a western journalist as the two throw a revolt to gain sovereignty for the space colony. This is the miner city, temporary tarp-based housing structures that assembled and reassemble as the miners move throughout the asteroid belts in search of helium-3.
