IT’S TUNDRA TIME. My first full-length in 6 years. I really, really struggle around wintertime and the holidays. Like I kind of hate it all. Scroogedogsarah. This year, I’m pouring my heart into creating a sense of tradition and that ceremonious nature of Christmas I have shunned for years. This is my best attempt at a “Christmas album” and allowing all my complex emotions surrounding the season to flow and to express themselves. The sadness, nostalgia, grief, genuine joy, boredom, playfulness, isolation, and gratitude. I’ve had writers block for a long time, but now more than EVER, it’s the most important thing to create art and to shine our own little lights in the world. The country may be falling to pieces and it’s easy to give up hope, but I also see a fire in my friends and in myself that burns brighter than ever to experience joy as an act of resistance and to resiliently remain soft. I have so much love in my heart and I really hope you can feel it if you give this a listen. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night. by @sundogsarah
