We’re inviting you to the Portugal for six days next year June. Days filled with rollerskating, yoga, relaxation, and sunshine. Connecting circles, nourishing meals by our private chefs, and a lot of laughter.

For our eleventh retreat you’ll be guided by Patrizia, Hilde, Nicky, and Rosie, four women who know exactly how to make you feel strong, supported, and free.

All levels welcome. This is a safe space to learn, improve, and grow on skates at your own pace, no matter where you’re starting from.

I bet you’re making at least one of these 🤭

This transition can look complex, and there’s actually a lot you can get wron! But once you know what to do and what to avoid, it’s actually super beginner friendly. Aaaand it’s a must learn, because so many moves build on it!!

Here’s the pattern:
1️⃣ Roll forward
2️⃣ Open the book: at least 90 degrees
3️⃣ Turn the page: switch legs and keep angle open
4️⃣ Close the book and roll backward

But seriously, if your transitions feel stuck, check your shoulders 👩‍🏫 They always move with your hips and feet. Let them lag behind and you’ll end up fighting your own body. Same rule for every transition.

Skipping steps will never be faster 🪜

Each step builds what the next one needs: the pizza stance teaches you weight distribution, the penguin walk gets you used to backward momentum, bubbles build your confidence, and strokes introduce proper weight shifts. Stay on one step until it feels easy, then move on.

Bubbles can feel easy if you get the rhythm right! 🫧

Here’s the rhythm: dip down as your feet go out, rise up as they come back together. Try it forward first until it feels natural, then take it backward.

Once the rhythm clicks, your weight does the work and your legs finally get a break 😮‍💨
