🐶Dogs are truly God’s gift. They heal, they commit and they love without limits. Not everyone will get that and that’s perfectly okay. But if you’ve ever had a dog truly see you, then you know… they save you.
They become your quiet saviors and your soulmates in fur. For nearly 50 years, I’ve had the joy of loving and being loved by dogs. I come from a long line of dog family thanks, Mom so I guess it’s in my DNA.
🐶They weren’t just my dogs 🐕 they were part of something so much bigger.
💕Oddy and Bambi were loved not only by me, but deeply by my son, Kane. They helped raise him too. I always tell people the story: Kane was just 10 years old when we got Oddy. Do the math! 😂
🐶Oddy grew up right alongside him, becoming more than just a pet💫he was Kane’s companion, protector and partner in childhood mischief. And when Bambi came along, she fit perfectly into the mix. Together, they gave our home peace, laughter and so much love. 🌸They were also deeply embraced by our entire family and community. Whether it was Kane’s friends hanging out with them by the courtyard @ booker T or besties checking in Oddy and Bambi had a presence that brought people together. My Oddy and Bambi are finally reunited in their forever dog heaven. I imagine Oddy is back to annoying Bambi, and maybe🤔just maybe😉she missed it. 💔❤️
🐕These two weren’t just pets. They were our earth angels, our divine reminders of how deeply one soul can touch another. To thank them doesn’t even begin to cover it. Oddy and Bambi, you carry the very best parts of us with you. For the 18 years Oddy stayed by our side, and the 10 years Bambi gave her light to this earth 💕you showed up exactly when we needed you most. God, you are more than powerful and incredible. You knew where our souls belonged🐶with them. I was meant to be Oddy and Bambi’s second soul giver. I will love you both forever.
All dogs go to heaven. Because heaven is their first home. 🐾

💐☀️🙌🏽Metamorphosis shows us that change can lead to something beautiful. Just like a caterpillar becomes a butterfly, we too can grow by leaving behind what no longer helps us. As spring begins, it’s a reminder that we can start fresh, let go of old habits, and open ourselves to new possibilities.
