Hello friends!!!! My name is Alyssa and I rebranded sawdustnyarn to give you SUNFLOWER NOOK!!! I wanted to change up things and make them more me! I wanted to keep my crocheting forward, but add in other things I love to make and I want to share with the world! That’s how Sunflower Nook was born! 🌻❤️ This is my dream and I want to show my little boys to always follow your dreams!

Sunflowers grow towards the sun and when the sun is missing they face each other so they are always facing sunshine! They are my favorite follower and knew they needed to be part of my small business! I am remodeling Etsy and hoping to grow my instagram! I’d love to get to 1,000 followers by the end of the year! Please follow along and come hang out with me! I have some more touching up to do with Etsy and then we will have a Christmas in July sale!!!! #christmasinjuly #rebrand #crochetersofinstagran #sunflower #smallbusiness taken in Atlanta, Georgia by @sunflower.nook

Vulnerable story time: Lately I have been struggling with depression. To where I didn’t want to do the things that I love, like crocheting and baking, but I was only able to take care of my little boys. I wanted to make a comfort stuffy for myself to help bring some joy back to my everyday life. I love making Briggs Bear by @mamamademinis and I needed to make him for myself but make him stuffed and weighted. So that’s what I did. Let’s just say, I am obsessed!

Pattern: Briggs Bear by @mamamademinis
Yarn: Big Twist Plush Yarn
