My voice deffffinitely hasn't recovered fully from whatever I picked up at work, but I have a habit of singing anyway 😅
(it's not a great habit, I will work on it)
Emergence has been on my mind lately. Maybe it's all the planets retrograding, maybe it's the seasons changing, but some things must be left behind in order to move forward. And sometimes that thing is the you you used to be. by @sunnyasfunk

Harmonizing is actually one of my favorite things to do when I sing. I consciously avoid it around people that have voiced that they dislike when people do it. But when I'm alone??? I'm jumping all over that map of possible harmonies. Creating dissonance to amp up the tension, resolving it or even coming back to unison when it feels most powerful.
There's so much the human voice can do and I have been in love with this instrument since I could speak. What a blessing it is to sing 🥹✨🥰 by @sunnyasfunk

My best friend of 20 years got married!!!
Becca, my love, it is amazing that you found a man worthy of your love and devotion. You are someone I have respected, admired and loved dearly for long enough to know that only top tier individuals deserve even an ounce of your time. My heart is so full that you found Sam, a man worthy of sharing a lifetime with you (and quiet threats were made if he steps out of line.... I stg) 😉

holy moly. this festival was one JAM PACKED day of throwbacks and sheer emo kid joy. I have never been so elated. made friends with everyone rocking out around me. what a perfect, punk rock, emo ass day!!!!

I got to do my baby sis's hair and makeup again (another throwback) and rock out with her at her first festie 🥹

(Edit) Wish I didn't use gen ai for this but I did, won't again, I promise

So stoked to finally give this song an official release. Sunny & I originally started writing and recording wild things in 2021, and over the years it's slowly evolved into a tune we're really proud of. In December 2024 I revisited the session to do a final mix/master and got a little carried away with the edit, haha... So here it is~ the reimagining of one of my favorite songs I've had the pleasure of working on, featuring one of the most talented humans I'm blessed to know.
