Happy birthday to us! 🥳🥳 What a difference a year makes. Between Sheena’s breast cancer diagnosis and multiple surgeries related to it, along with more twists and turns than we ever imagined, this year has tested us in ways we never expected. But I’m grateful we’ve had each other through it all. Here’s to another trip around the sun, good health, new beginnings, happier days, and a little less drama. 👯‍♀️

One of my favorite things about owning @sheenaspickles has been the friendships I’ve made along the way. Tani (@go_go_tani )is one of those people.

She didn’t have to make room on the @gogoyumyumtruck truck for a pickle pop, but she did because she believes in supporting fellow local businesses. That’s just who she is.

I loved seeing GoGo Yum Yum featured in the Austin Chronicle (link in bio). The article perfectly captures the heart behind what Tani has built. I’m grateful that Sheena’s Pickles gets to be a small part of the journey.
If you’re looking for something unique for a birthday party, wedding, neighborhood gathering, or special event, GoGo YumYum is such a fun way to bring people together.

I’m proud to call Tani my friend, and I can’t wait to see what she does next. 💚🍦🥒

🥒 Back to teaching community pickling classes for the first time in a couple of years!
Thank you to everyone who joined my refrigerator pickling workshop at @thepapercraftpantry on Sunday. We packed jars, mixed brine, and made some future snacks.
And to the shop staff: hehehe, sorry about the lingering pickle smell. 🥒💚✨

Sealy 🤍

On Saturday, we had to say goodbye to our sweet doggy, Sealy, quietly at home. This was HARD. Thank you to all the friends who stopped by, brought flowers, and sent texts. We felt so held.

Mike got her as a puppy from Austin Pets Alive, back when they didn’t even have a physical location yet. From the very beginning, she became everyone’s dog. Anyone who knew us, knew Sealy. She was part of our little family with @moore2austin and @be.njamin1333 too.

For me, I didn’t grow up with a dog, but I liked Sealy from the jump. Over time, I got to build my own relationship with her and became her snack lady, which she took very seriously, even at the very end.

Sealy lived nearly 18 years exactly how you’d hope a dog gets to live. Slow mornings, sunny naps, good food, and people who loved her deeply.
Her personality was unmistakable. Independent, a little stubborn, always food-motivated, and famous for her side-eye. She loved a good party and wanted to be right in the middle of everything, just maybe not with a hand on top of her head (lol).
And this dog loved to eat anything. Powdered donuts, grits, Auntie @magvickicent cornbread. Truly unfazed. It was honestly wild.
She also knew how to pose, baybee, little black and white paws crossed. And somehow, she especially knew when @kid_kansas had the camera out. Thanks for all the photos over the years, Sam!
I was morning duty, singing to her and watching her tail wag. Mike was nighttime duty, when the demon dog came out and she still had energy to spare.
Over these last few years, @naturegirlmaria cared for her with so much patience and love. She became part of our family, and there was something really special there. Thank you for everything, Maria!

What stays with us most isn’t how we said goodbye. It’s how she lived.

Steady. Comfortable. Loved.

The house feels quieter, but she’s everywhere.

Love you forever, Sealy 🤍🌈 by @sunnysheena

Happy National Twin Day!

There’s comfort in having someone who’s known you since the very beginning. This bond is rare, deep, and endlessly meaningful.

Birthday in London 🇬🇧✨
Walked across Tower Bridge, breathed in that salty air at Seven Sisters, wandered Kew Gardens, and ate so well in between.
Caught up with Jon (our once-a-decade tradition lives on!) and got to see Mike fall for London on his first trip over. A week full of good food, coastlines, and all the right kinds of nostalgia.

Happy belated 40th Birthday to our best friend, Roxy!

We’ve known each other since the 6th grade — neighbors in Plano, Texas, and friends for life. Alisha and I might be twins, but with you, we’re triplets. You’ve always been part of the family, the missing piece that makes this trio complete.

Here’s to 40 years of brilliance, laughter, and heart — and to many more years of inside jokes, deep talks, and showing up for each other the way we always have. We love you so much and feel lucky every day to call you our best friend.

Happy birthday, Roxy! by @sunnysheena

Banff, you’re stunning! We had the best time exploring this breathtaking place, thanks to our friends Sam and Britt, who gave us some amazing recommendations—from must-try eats to hikes we couldn’t miss. 🌲🏔️

The highlight was hiking Athabasca Glacier—icy blue and shimmering under the sun, it was surreal. Every step, every turn, the colors were so vivid it was hard to believe they were real! I kept having to stop just to soak it all in. ❄️💙

Lake Moraine and Lake Louise, and let me tell you, the greens and teals of the water were so vibrant, I kept taking my sunglasses off just to make sure my eyes weren’t playing tricks on me. 🌊💚

To top it all off, we hiked Grassi Lakes on our way back to Calgary. The lake perfectly clear, reflecting the world around them like mirrors. The intense colors and a waterfall nearby were the perfect way to end this magical trip. 💧✨

Until next time, Banff! #BanffAdventures #LakeMoraine #LakeLouise #AthabascaGlacier #NatureLovers #UnrealViews by @sunnysheena

Some friendships are timeless. Since the 6th grade, we’ve been making memories, one lunch at a time. No matter how busy life gets, we always find our way back to the table, sharing laughs, stories, and everything in between. Here’s to countless more lunches with the best friends I could ask for! 🍽️🥂
