3D was starting to overwhelm me, so I decided to take a ceramic class hoping to regain inspiration for creating again. After finishing thesis and school, I wasn’t inspired to make anything. Creating 3D artwork for the sake of gaining employment terrified me and I grew to resent it. So I made it my goal to not give a shit and just have some fun with ceramics. Just to play was my intention!!Heres everything I've made so far :’) I really missed the imperfections that come with traditional mediums. What should I learn next 😍😍 by @sunofnel

Hey everyone! This is Nelson @neloftheson from @shattered_thesis!I am the character TD for Shattered. I worked on character modeling, shading, rigging, cloth simulation, lighting and compositing. I used @marvelousdesigner to fabricate and simulate the garments. I hope you enjoy the fun dance I made using mixamo mocap! The Chens live in a close knit immigrant community in Bensonhurst Brooklyn, just an hour train ride away from NYC’s Chinatown. Scott is a 17 year old, queer Chinese-American. He is a passionate and dedicated artist who is growing into his identity. Although he is confident when he goes outside to take pictures, he struggles to connect with his parents and express his dreams.In our film, we meet Scott from the past. Like all 8 year olds, he admires and loves his parents dearly. Dedi is a middle-aged Chinese immigrant from Taishan, China. Although he has traditional values and acts stern and inexpressive, he used to be a passionate photographer. However, he gave up his love in order to provide for the family, and along the way, he hardened his heart to dreams.Mami is a middle-aged Chinese immigrant from Taishan, China. She is the type of mother to overworry and nag because she values her family above all else. She is the glue holding this family together.
