Jeff Buckley and Cocteau Twins singer, Liz Fraser’s relationship was very intense . They got together sometime in the mid-1990s and were drawn together like magnets. Their dual talent, tortured upbringings and childhood trauma made them seem like kindred spirits on paper. Both were enigmatic and mysterious, and this created an intense romance that imploded as quickly as it was concocted. Fraser had previously been in a long relationship with Cocteau Twins songwriting partner Robin Guthrie which ended in 1993. However, due to contractual obligations, the band were continuing to produce music and tour, something that had a huge effect on Fraser, and she struggled with the bad blood. She met Buckley at the right time, and said that meeting him was like “being given a set of paints, do you know what I mean? It was just like I had all this colour in my life again”. #lizfraser #cocteautwins #jeffbuckley #explore #fyp by @sunprogress.wav

Clan of Xymox - “Michelle” live in (1987) Clan of Xymox were formed in Nijmegen, Netherlands, in 1983 by Ronny Moorings and Anka Wolbert. “Ronny and I met as students in Nijmegen and we connected over our taste in music. We started making music together and picked up some equipment to experiment with, like the Korg MS-10 and a rhythm machine...We started to perform live, just the two of us, changing instruments in between songs. While I had a bass guitar strapped around my neck and simultaneously hit the monophonic keyboard, Ronny played guitar and sang. We combined our sound with tape loops, a Casio, plus a few weird instruments. -Anka Wolbert #music #musiclover #explore #fyp #goth #clanofxymox by @sunprogress.wav
