On July 1, 1975, at 12:00pm in Peekskill, our Founding Mothers cut the ribbon and opened the doors to a bold vision: that everyone deserves quality health care.

NIMAA and Sun River Health are excited to partner again to host the Spring 2027 Cohort of students!

NIMAA offers an 8-month medical assistant training program. All of the coursework is completed online while students are simultaneously completing hands-on training with staff at Sun River Health. Read more about the structure here: Understanding the NIMAA Program
