I know something about the truth, it often stays hidden from view, yet exists in plain sight. The reality is there is no reconciliation without the revelation of fact over fiction. I need only look at my stolen family as evidence. Both my children horrifically withheld in North Vancouver, BC by falsehood, perjury and a mob of agencies such as the MCFD, #SD44, and selective law enforcement, complicit in acts of bad faith creating generational harm and trauma out of pure misandry and discrimination against Section15 (1) of the Charter, all to deny children their father. Just as Judge Joanne Challenger has done in conflict with standing parenting Orders of the court of competent jurisdiction without evidence, urgency, but reasonable apprehension of bias in her annual rubber-stamp to harm and hinder paternal family for close to half a decade.

Such institutionalized terrorism against families, should never be allowed in our home and native land of Canada. Yet it is still in the 21st century, where we have radical lobbyists opposed to presumptive rebuttable Equal Shared Parenting.

It's time, in my view, to change leadership to move us forward, out of the past and deal with the present for future generations.

I miss my guardian-mate Maine Coon, "Gustavo," and the way he waited for me in the camping chair on deck after work. Of course, his love extended to my daughter on her all- too-brief visits over the three years I lived in James Bay. He came with the pad and stayed with the suite. Much love, cat - you rule the neighbourhood & grounds forevermore!

PS - My son has never been free to communicate, nor in seven plus years, to visit the island due to his mother and former in-laws' liberal use of the broken family-law system via ex parte bias and misandry. Today's commute along the Rail Trail. I always think how much my kids, now teenagers withheld, would so enjoy being free to live a life with their father in the fall again. But that's another story to be continued... TBA

A day in the 'shed is better than griping about how bad it is. Sacrifice is part and parcel of being a humbled composer, musician, songwriter and certainly a teacher.
A gym for the mind needs straight lines in time to bend the space that fills them. Huh? Y'all know what it is. First time I have been able to set up at "home" in three years... 🕊️

It's hard to believe it's been 25 years. The stories and human tragedy of that infamous day juxtaposed with the heroic sacrifices of all trying to save, help, and comfort family - complete strangers. I remember walking into our family home living room and seeing the impossible as it occurred, shouting in vain. Unthinkable loss.
I have been playing this song I wrote ever since - "live" and it still moves me. Somehow it fills me with hope, like a breath.

Back in 2021, I decided to tour my way back home during Covid from West to East. This excerpt is from a hostel I stayed at where a handful of us gathered on the rooftop in the open September air and celebrated life! The CN Tower was lit in the background. It wasn't lost on any of us gathered from far an wide the symbolism this represented.

I'll be busking this song tomorrow, as I did today, on the streets of Victoria and Vancouver. If you're nearby, come say hi.

You can't imagine, in all the moments we have lost together, how much I love you both.

People who use div-craft create a world of pain for families and children caught in the middle. The fact that lawmakers, and the public allow this depravity of dysfunction to continue needs to be addressed and called out for what it is - child abuse.

In my view:

There are many reasons to protect children, including from malevolent or dysfunctional judiciary who appear bent on exacting suffering for seemingly systemic "Daddy issues." Alongside the serial allowance via ex parte applications and repeated misuse of vexatious litigation - referred to as the 'Silver Bullet' tactic, by what appears a vindictive, spiteful, and questionably unfit individual. However, being a decent, kind and good father is not - nor ever should be - one of them.

Fact:
My children and I have been denied contact for four plus years based solely on hearsay, sans urgency, threat or jurisprudence and without fair procedure. Decisions made by the lower court not of competent jurisdiction but one in direct conflict with standing Supreme Court Orders.

By extension the paternal grandmother has been unjustly deprived of her close and loving relationship with them. Particularly by the local School District #SD44

Since 2014, I have formally written to both Chief Justices, two Attorneys General of BC - including the now Premier - as well as the Ombudsman, the MCFD Complaint Specialist, and others. I have filed Freedom of Information Act requests, including with SD44, which were refused. Challenging my fatherhood, is an olde go-to and holdover from radical feminist camps which have influenced family-law culture.

Nota bene:
You should be concerned for your future and that of your family within such a framework, indeed state of absolute discretionary power vested in one individual which can cause generational trauma to society.

Solution

In the meantime, what can we, the citizens, do?

Write to our elected politicians.

I guess I must admit I found myself homeless for a spell, drifting from 'urban camping' to hostels and perpetual travel following the loss of my children to a heartless misuse of vexatious litigation. The harm and damage that causes is well documented. #mysonthesearchfortruth #aparableforchildrenwithheld

So, a new chapter - one that came from Out of Nowhere. I'm grateful and give thanks!

A lot of hard work ahead, as before, but now I have a place I can land, catch my breath and try to get back on my feet, again.
