RYKH (or RUKH) is the Latin transliteration of the Ukranian word “Рух»

Across different cultures and languages, “Rukh” carries powerful meanings:

In Ukrainian, it means “movement” — forward motion, progress, development, and change.

In Arabic and Eastern traditions, “Rukh” (or “Roc”) refers to a mythical giant bird, symbolizing strength, freedom, and immense power.

More broadly, the word is associated with energy, motion, a free spirit, and inner strength.

Rykh represents:
— forward movement
— freedom
— strength of spirit
— growth and transformation
— independence and energy

This is the spirit of our music festival — where Ukrainian artists and their friends come together to share music, movement, and a living sense of creative freedom. taken in Casa de Pedra by @sunset_legacy.pt
