Would you add a magnet to the back or would you display them on an easel?

I wanted to make some cute souvenirs for our upcoming cruise with friends and family, so I printed this cute image directly on dollar store canvases with my xtool M2 and they came out adorable!

Want your sentiment to pop over your textured background? Try this technique by @sunshine.stamper using acetate and the latest Simon Hurley create (@inklipse) products. 🐻‍❄️🎄

Supplies:
Simon Hurley create.:
-Layering Stencil: Candy Canes
-Silicone spreader
-Blending brushes
-Stellar Ink: Red Flag, Shady, Black Widow
-Astro Paste: Unicorn Horn
-Stark white cardstock, Background card panel ( 4.25x5.5)
-Stamp + Die Sets: Polar Friends
-Clear Foam Tape
Ranger Archival Ink: Jet Black

Other:
Acetate Sheet cut to 4.25 x 5.5
Colored Pencils

Instructions:
-Place Candy Cane Stencil On background panel and Ink blend layer one with Red Flag ink
Ink blend layer Three with shady ink.
-Use Unicorn Horn Astro paste with layer two and let dry completely.
-On Stark White cardstock, stamp bear image with Black Widow Ink. Let dry completely.
-Color using colored pencils or markers.
-Die cut image.
-Stamp sentiment with Ranger Jet Black Archival Ink on acetate. Let dry.
-Repeat stamping to achieve desired shade. Let dry completely.
-Adhere background layer to cardstock.
-Adhere polar bear to acetate layer.
-Use Simon Hurley Clear Foam tape behind the polar bear image on the acetate layer to adhere acetate layer to background layer.

Can you imagine anything cuter than Christmas penguins?

I thought these little guys from the Simon Hurley Polar Friends stamp set were soo adorable they needed to be a pop-up card. I’ve been trying to make more interactive cards lately and I think the tree decorating was just perfect for pop up layers.

I just can’t get enough of these adorable Christmas Pets from Simon Hurley. This cute little kitty was just asking to be made into a pop up card!

I colored the cat with colored pencils from Staedtler and used Game Over lunar paste with the Slanted stencil from Make Art for the bottom. For the top layer, I ink blended Ivy League, fake plant and red flag stellar ink with the new festive holly layering stencil.

I used a simple easel fold to pop up our cute little kitty, and the front of the card is tucked behind the adorable sentiment to make it stand on its own.

I am having so much fun celebrating Christmas in July with these fun products!

Santa made his grand entrance and he’s not being quiet about it. This jolly guy comes straight from the new Simon Hurley Naughty or Nice stamp set, popping right out of his chimney with a wave and a speech bubble sentiment that says exactly what he’s thinking.

I love pairing him with the Tangled Lights background stamp again this year, but this time I went bold with black cardstock instead of red for a little more contrast. An embossed plaid panel sits underneath him for texture that reads without competing, then everything got popped up for dimension.

Sometimes a card just needs a little sass, and Santa delivered.

This grinning gator is here to remind you that birthdays deserve a little chaos. He’s from the Snappy Birthday stamp set by Simon Hurley, floating along with a full bunch of balloons and an “oh snap” pun that had to happen.

I colored him entirely with Staedtler colored pencils, building up those layered greens on his scales and warming the balloons with soft pink and coral blending. Staedtler pencils are my go to for coloring stamped images like this because the pigment stays smooth and buildable, which makes shading fun details like his belly stripes so much easier.

This golden pup earned every bit of his Santa suit this year. He’s part of the new Christmas Pets stamp set from Simon Hurley, paired with the Tangled Lights background stamp for that fun, doodly holiday glow.

I colored him in with Staedtler pencils, keeping the fur soft and warm, then let the lights pop with bright primary tones against all that black and white. The circle die cut gives him room to shine without competing with the busy background, and that “you’ve been a good boy this year” sentiment felt like the perfect finishing touch.

Christmas in July is officially in full swing over here. Who else is already dreaming up their holiday card lineup?

Season’s greetings from this little woodland family! 🦌✨

I colored this sweet scene using Faber-Castell Polychromos and Staedtler pencils, then finished the background with the Dazzling Snowflake Stencil from Simon Hurley using Unicorn Horn Paste for that shimmering, icy texture against the navy cardstock. The embossed circle gives the deer and tree somewhere soft to sit, and I love how the antler lights add just a little sparkle up top.

The deer family and tree are from the new Polar Friends Stamp Set, another favorite from this new release. Such a fun collection to work with this holiday season.

“Season’s Greetings” felt like the perfect sentiment for this one. Simple, warm, and ready to send to anyone on your list.

There is something magical about bringing classic characters to life with color, and this card made my heart so happy to create.

The patterned paper features the iconic map of the Hundred Acre Wood, but it came printed in monochrome, so I used my Staedtler soft colored pencils to hand-color all the little illustrated details directly on the paper. The result is soft, natural, and beautifully subtle, like the color was always meant to be there.

I used the Silly Old Bear stamp set from Stampin’ Up! for this one, featuring Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger, Owl, Rabbit, Kanga, and more. I colored each character individually and used acetate to give them dimension as they gather around that sweet oval frame with the sentiment “Old friends are the best friends.” The pencils gave every character real depth, from the warm honey tones on Pooh to the soft blue of Eeyore’s coat and the delicate pink stripes on Piglet.

The only thing cuter than a cat is a cat dressed as an elf! I made this adorable Christmas card using products from the newest Ranger Simon Hurley release.

To make this card, I started by ink blending the festive holly stencil on green card stock using Ivy League stellar ink on the holly leaves. For the second layer, I used Shady Stellar Ink on the stems and I finished it off with Game Over Lunar Paste.

I layered a couple of circles to highlight our cute kitty, from the Christmas Pets stamp set, which I colored with colored pencils. The sentiment was the perfect match!
