Bermuda, August 31st through September 6th

My friend and I set off from Norfolk, Virginia, filled with excitement as we embarked on a six-day cruise to the breathtaking Bermuda. This marked my inaugural experience with Carnival Cruise Line, and I couldn’t wait to share the highlights!

From the moment we arrived at the dockyard, the boarding process was impeccably smooth. We were met with warm smiles from the staff, who expertly directed us to leave our luggage portside for delivery straight to our room after boarding.

As we stepped onto the ship, I was immediately enveloped in a vibrant atmosphere, thanks to the friendly crew. Security was a breeze, and upon entering the ship, we eagerly made our way to our room, a charming little haven equipped with everything we needed for our six-day adventure. Our steward, Rubi, introduced himself and made it clear he would go above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout the trip.

After a delightful tour of the ship, we treated ourselves to a few cocktails, savoring the leisurely vibe in the common area.

**Pros:**
- To my delight, contrary to some reviews, the ship had no unpleasant odors whatsoever.
- Every member of the staff radiated genuine friendliness and a willingness to help.
- The main buffet and Sunset Restaurant quickly became my favorites, and let's not forget the delightful unlimited soft serve ice cream!

With daily activities thoughtfully waiting for us in our room and nightly movies lighting up the party deck, the entertainment options were plentiful. There were many tasty snacks available for purchase, complemented by a bar for a perfect nightcap. As a first-time cruiser, I truly appreciated the plethora of information provided about what to do and see once we arrived in Bermuda. That said, I did encounter some frustration with the Wi-Fi connection; even with the internet package, it left much to be desired given the price.
