Haven’t been posting in a while. I felt nostalgic and picked a few favourites from the archive. It’s hard for me to feel like sharing and posting lately. My impostor syndrome is pointing out that my photos are shit and nobody cares about places I’ve seen. Anyway..

Here some special shots, a collection I could probably call Taradise. Where the waves are pumping and sunsets are burning. Desert black sand beaches, loneliness, connection, freedom.
Locals are open hearted and welcoming, shredding in the surf, always making sure to keep the stoke high.

Here it’s me with a very special board I had. It’s an experimental custom made @mtmsurfboards that Filo has brilliantly hand-shaped for me. It’s a mix of ideas taking inspiration from the master/shaper @garymcneillconcepts
It has been an incredible board, probably the best twinny I’ve tried so far. The torus channel made this little 5’7 unbelievably fast, sharp on turns, capable of holding hollow sections. It exceeded in open faces and clean conditions. I’ve put this board is solid surf and always had a blast on it!
After spending enough time with her I’ve decided to sell it, with the idea of leave it on the other side of the world. I’m sure Filo is happy to know that his creation is now own by a local guy and that she is still surfing some NZ waves.

At the end of the carousel you can see an iPhone clip of my average surfing capabilities pushing the little 5’7 Moon in some RR conditions. It was my first time surfing this spot, hence my ok-ish ride. taken in New Plymouth, New Zealand by @sunshineblueocean

Strong offshore winds shaping mesmerising almond looking waves. I’m loving the contrast between the black rocks, the green lush plants, and the turquoise ocean.

West is best 🤙🏽
Memories of a pumping day down the coast. Not the best day we have seen but still quite clean conditions. Light winds and lots of long canvases to draw for the crew.
Spaghetti harms was served as the main dish in the menu for the day. Everyone was surfed out by sunset, and chatting about the waves that has been surfed could stop between the dogs.. taken in New Zealand by @sunshineblueocean

Manga’s classic 🔥 Juicy A frames of a southern deep ocean reef. This spot is heavy, providing juicy peaks with a difficult wide take off zone. If you paddle the wave from the wrong spot prepare to jump off a 2 story building.
Steep and intense drops are always on the menu here. A super long right-hander providing rippable walls, and a shorter but more intense left-hander delivering some steep sections.

South mission with my brother and one of the best humans I know. It hasn’t been the best day but still plenty of great waves to be catch, and of course with just a bunch of people out.
This is another fickle spot, difficult to predict. It likes a long period swell preferably without secondary ones. Sometimes you might think is gonna be pumping and it’s not. Some others you think you might find something and..it’s absolutely pumping providing long ride walls to rip.
Throw the coin, find a friend to share the road with, and leave at home your expectations. The stars might align and you’ll have on the best surf of your life! taken in Surf Highway 45 by @sunshineblueocean

Bog Works is a fickle outer reef that can provide intense vertical rides with a huge barrel section. People who surfs it are riding semi-guns and guns. The amount of water moving is massive, wipe outs are heavy, and hold downs are scary.
The waves coming from deep waters are powerful and breaking pretty far from the coast. Just watching them you can feel the adrenaline running up your spine.
