The Students for a Democratic Society presents ‘Novel Experiments in Audio Torture’ on Bandcamp and on youtube(eventually) - this is an old project before we got a 2nd guitarist and when we were still doing pure improv. It has been sitting as a draft in Bandcamp for months and we decided to finally put it out. by @sunshinedeathsquad

A BENEFIT show featuring hard, dirty, sweaty, seductive rock n’ roll. It’s like if the Ramones were playing at UMBC except it’s @sicsicsicsicsicsicsicsicsic @sunshinedeathsquad and @themoneypyramid

DEC. 3 DOORS 7:30 SHOWTIME 8:00 UC310

…As the sun rises on a new day, whispers of a new Art Life show roll through the winds and fall into phenomenological splendor. Face to face with a deep aesthetic contemplation, those of us under the stars alive asked, “When? When will these tender affections reunite with that of the sweet, beautiful sound of community ignited in DIY music?

“Because the space is awesome, and we get time to set up early, and I think the bands are great, this could very well be an Art Life show for the ages (although the charm is you never quite know what you’re gonna get.)” -Jason B.

Thank you to @kermit.the.kaiju for graphic design genius in the creation of this flier, the artistic vision of such an individual has no roof ☕️🫶 taken in UMBC by @sunshinedeathsquad

In a world where one can do so many things, there are few things as full of joyous expectation as attending this show, this Thursday, in Lecture Hall 1 featuring @rosebloombud @omontizay @sunshinedeathsquad

Doors are at 7 pm, show will start at 7:30. We’re partnering with the good folks over at @umbcgrittykitties to put on this helluva show, and to make this world’s burdens lighter. Thanks for all the support, always! Love you all, see you there.

Many many many thanks to the beautiful, daring, charming stud of a human being @chris_hutton12 for designing the flier. taken in Lecture Hall 1 by @sunshinedeathsquad

154 DOLLARS RAISED FOR @cohdc I am in awe and always finding reasons to be in favor of human beings and our capacity to make change.

Each time folks come together to create a show or engage with art, they are in a very radical way sharing humanity with one another; doing a thing which is sacred, beautiful, precious, and a pre-requisite to our survival- creating community to be in and community to support one another.

It is a privilege to support a platform on this campus which its only aim is to make community, art, and engagement accessible and human and DIY. Our first event was magical to bear witness to and be a part of- all of us who performed are deeply grateful to those who spread the word, brought friends, cheered along, and rallied to make a thing like this possible.

BIG thank you to @sunshinedeathsquad @chloelstehwrites @big_.m07 @duncanwinger for performing, sharing, and videoing.

Perform at or come out to our next event. More importantly, be in the world, have radically kind, thoughtful conversations with one another and create community to share your art and passion.

Love,
